LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Mixup 7/5 - 7/8 - Rockridge BART - (base of the escalators)
This is our Mixup week. This week we will be moving around the Bay Area taking daily field trips while using public transportation to navigate our way. The week will be comprised of the schedule below*. July 3 camp not included unless added with purchase session option. Day 1: July 4th observed on this day - Camp Day will not be run Day 2: TBD Day 3: TBD Day 4: TBD Day 5: TBD (Days may not be in the specific order above) We meet at Rockridge BART station every morning at 8 AM then travel the city to our destination or destinations. We return to Rockridge BART at 4PM for pickup or post camp day care. *Note: UAC will follow the schedule posted unless issues arise, in which case we will make any and all substitutions equal to the current schedule. 510-339-0676

Our kid's summer sew camp includes three fun-filled days of crafting and project making while learning a valuable skill! Sew camp is ideal for children ages 7 and up who haven’t sewn before or are still beginning, or those who want to learn more. Each day will bring a new project! We will be running two camps for three consecutive days frp, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Camp will include a snack (children with special dietary restrictions or preferences are encouraged to bring their own) and all materials. We want to help children express their unique qualities that define who they are. From Toddler through Middle School, we have developed a summer program to help us accomplish this goal. Camp themes range from academics, art, all types of enrichment, and sports. Our camp spans over nine weeks during the summer. This time span allows campers ample time to fully explore Oakhill Summer Days. Half day and full day options are available, along with extended care programs to make our hours convenient for parents work schedules. Speed & Agility Camp, Session 2 - Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy
Where: Wroubel Center, main gym, outdoor & sand courts About: Students who attend this camp will work on all aspects of conditioning, including but not limited to speed training, agility, quickness, and anaerobic conditioning. This camp incorporates sprint mechanics and footwork as it relates to various cone, ladder, band and sprint drills, first step quickness and lateral movements. Students will be exposed to different resisted movements as well as basic agility and plyometrics. Great for sports that need high levels of conditioning like Soccer, Basketball, Lacrosse, etc. By using some of these techniques, some of the 2015 football players lowered their 40-yd dash & pro-agility and increased their vertical jump. This will also help soccer with improving pre-season testing results and in-season conditioning. **Sign up for both speed & agility sessions and pay only $100. Discount will automatically load at checkout.** What to wear/bring: Athletic attire, shoes for indoor and outdoor, socks, water bottle, and a readiness to prepare for your upcoming season.
