Learn and create riverside games using found rocks, sticks, and whatever else the river gives us. Build miniature test rafts and race them. Build a rafts large and small. Learn about useful and edible aquatic plants and animals. Track aquatic creatures along riverbank including the beaver, muskrat, heron, raccoon and more. Build primitive forts. Make and fish with a simple cane pole just like Huck and Tom. Use cane pole as part of stick and bindle (hobo satchel) to carry your goods during your travels. Our young athletes celebrate the wide world of sports with a weeklong competition featuring sports and games from all over the globe.
