Boy Scouts Troop 114 is trying to raise funds for Summer Camp! Please stop by and grab a delicious dinner anytime between 5-8pm on Thursday, March 3rd. You can come in and visit with the troop while you eat or you can even participate via the drive-thru! Just tell them you're with the fundraiser when you order, they hit a button on the register and that's it. So easy! Please share this event out with everyone you know who lives in the area, everyone is welcome and invited to join! Thank you all for supporting our boys; it takes a lot to get these kids to Colorado and we truly could not do this without your help!!!
Teen Bring a Friend Weekend - De Leon Springs, FL
For youngsters in grades 5 through 10. Campers are allowed to bring a friend of the same sex and approximate age if they so choose. This weekend program allows for interactions amongst peer groups and a learning experience for those campers without diabetes. Educational sessions relating to Teen Issues, School Issues and How To-Be-A Friend are lead by the pediatric endocrinologists, nurses, dietitians and mental health professionals. Networking and the support of their peers is critical to this age. Campers are also treated to activities such as a beach party, luau, casino night and land sports.

Smooth-Style Lindy with Charlie Wyler and Stacy Rathbun - Born 2 Dance Studio
This class is NOT TO BE MISSED by any dancer who is interested in improving their skill level. Concentrating on Smooth-Style Lindy (also referred to variously as Hollywood-Style, Dean Collins Style, and So-Cal Lindy), this class will improve your whips and swing-outs, help you develop floor-craft, work on styling, and emphasize lead-and-follow technique. Class will focus on drilling the Lindy Whip and the Push, concentrating on the concepts of weight sharing, counter balance, compression, syncopation, etc. First 30 minutes of class will be spent on working the basics with intense drilling; following 60 minutes will be spent exploring new challenges. This is a recreational & competitive level camp open to boys & girls 10-18 years old. Players will engage in a competitive training environment, with high level coaching. Goalkeepers and Strikers will train separately for the first half of each session and then come together during the second half of training each day. These sessions will allow players to improve technically, tactically, physically, and psychologically. The curriculum will follow the same coaching methods as our Professional and Academy Sporting KC teams. All players will have the opportunity to be trained by our Professional Sporting KC Academy coaching staff members and all sessions will take place at the official training grounds for Sporting KC and Swope Park Rangers. We recommend completing the Shooting & Finishing camp as a prerequisite to the Goalkeeper & Striker Training but is NOT required.
