This camp provides Major League experience to kids who are passionate about learning and playing baseball. Each child receives a look alike national league uniform. In this science based class, students will discover all the crazy weather our planet experiences; tornadoes, earthquakes, thunder, lightning, hurricanes and blizzards just to name a few! Instructor: Hawley Session 8: Crime Busters Camp. Camp Collegiate is a fast-paced, fun-based learning experience that is meant to make summer days fly by with fun activities. Boys and girls in third through eighth grade spend their days with friends and counselors doing all of the typical camp things: swimming, cooking out on a camp fire, canoe trips, arts and crafts, having treats, horseback riding, games … and a lot of not-so-traditional things: feeding and caring for snakes and hamsters; studying ecosystems and astronomy; competing in science challenges; building woodworking and electronics projects. Fun off-campus trips will include canoeing down the Fall River, visiting the Oklahoma salt flats, going to Laser Quest, the Alley, Ice Skating, Tanganyika, the Sedgwick Co. Zoo, and All-Star Adventures. Kids often say that great memories are made in this camp and its one of the best parts of their summer! Each day at camp begins at 9:00 AM with a game of Capture the Flag and ends at 3:00 PM with a fun closing activity where the Happy Camper for the day is announced.
