EVERY Saturday is Kids Play Night at Tree Frog Treks! Drop off & pick up anytime between our hours of 5:30-9:00 pm at our event pad, Frog Hall at 2114 Hayes Street, for enriching evening childcare! Then go out and have an adults-only night on the town while your kids: - Meet lizards, frogs, snakes & tortoises like Thorny the Bearded Dragon & Stickum the Frog - Do fun, creative, hands-on science & art projects from clay critters to puppets - Munch on pizza and healthy snacks - Develop literacy skills by reading a book and then enjoying a fun movie. Enjoy the spotlight, love singing and dancing, or do you just want to be a little silly and have fun? The drama program is for you! This summer, the drama program returns crazier than ever and will be overflowing with things to do for kids of all ages and interests. Each day will consist of various theater games and activities that enhance acting ability, diction, improvisational skills, spatial awareness and movement, singing, show tunes appreciation, backstage expertise, and most importantly confidence on and off the stage. These activities will be coupled with rehearsals for a short play that will culminate with a performance on Friday afternoon for fellow camp-goers, family, and friends. Week 6 - Charlottesville Waldorf School
The Charlottesville Waldorf Schools Summergarden has been designed to bring your children the rhythmical structure of a Waldorf Kindergarten that allows the imagination to unfold in free play, games, crafts and a variety of artistic activities. Each day will start in the cool of the morning in our beautifully landscaped outdoor play area, where sand, water, and swings are readily available. Everyone will have the opportunity to work in one of the school gardens. As the temperature rises, the children will move to our carefully designed and air-conditioned classrooms.
