The Drama Club will work under the direction of Lil Buds Artistic Director/Co-Founder Jeff Predmore. Mr. Predmore is a professional actor and Director here in Chicago. The students in the Drama Club will work as an ensemble to stage a selected scripted play. The play will be determined based on class size. The students will learn all aspects of putting on a theatrical production, from character creation, staging, choreography and vocal production. The session will end with a final performance for invited family and friends. We will be presenting and adaptation of little mermaid for our final performance. Our annual Kid's Fishing Derby will be on Saturday. We are always looking for great volunteers to help during the derby along with donations. If you have any donations, please drop them off at the Rec Center or Office. We truly appreciate it and so do the kids.
Boost- Teen Renewal Retreat 2015 - Sacramento, NM
6-12th Grade When? We will leave from Westside parking lot at 4:00pm and return around 2:30pm on Sunday. How much? $40 plus one meal on the road. Westside teens- bring a friend and your friend can come free. I don't have enough money! We will have a work day in the morning of Oct 16th for those that need helping affording to go. What will we do? stay in cabins, campfire, volleyball, massive group games, and hear from guest speaker Cliff Mcgraw about simply following Jesus. Who else will be there? Teens from youth groups in Las Cruces, Alamagorda, Albuquerque, El Paso and more!! Don't miss out!!

Summer Camp - Half Day Morning - Week 7 - Mockingbird Baby
Morning: Robotic Golf Open Things on the golf course just arent the same since Lego Robotics have taken over! The holes having moving machines/obstacles and the par just keeps raising. Students will use their imagination and creativity to design and modify unique golf holes on most days. When students are not golfing, they are fighting for the most golf balls with Crabs in the sand trap and having a Golf Cart show down (maneuverability race and battle). Not only do you create your own golf course anew with different obstacles, but teams build and modify a Lego club too. On the last day, the 18th Hole, build a Hole-in-One Catapult! Go for a Hole-in-One! Go for the Robotic Golf Open! Note: Even though between some weekly sessions there might appear the same program names, in our actual education program, we will have different depth of technology and engineering principles to be applied by our children under our inspirational guidance...
