Coed Soccer - WEDNESDAYS ONLY - Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy
Where: NDP baseball field About: This coed soccer session will run for three consecutive Wednesdays for 1st-4th graders: 6/15, 6/22 and 6/29 from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Athletes will go through a skills session focusing on ball control, passing and shooting, followed by a scrimmage. What to wear/bring: Athletic attire, soccer shoes, soccer socks, shin guards, any other necessary soccer equipment, towel and water bottle. Please note our new cancellation policy. A 50% fee of the cost of the camp shall be applied to an individual who cancels. 248-373-5300
Cavalier Cross Country Camp - Boy Camper - The Miller School
The camp aims to prepare campers to compete in running events from 800-meters through 10,000-meters and cross country. There will be two running activities daily, each will be between 25 minutes and 60 minutes in duration, depending on age and ability. Teams are encouraged to come as a group, and learn to work together. A team is considered 5 or more from the same school, residential camper price is $445. To register as a team you must call/email Todd Morgan to register. We will have expert speakers covering racing, training, and strength strategies. Camp facilities include miles of trains, gym, pool, lake, canoes, etc.. A full-time camp counselor staff includes a certified ATC Trainer, and life guard. Join the Cinderella Ballet Camp for a week filled with the joys of dance and music! Participants will read about and then recreate the magic of the Fairy Godmother, the pumpkin coach, and the glass slipper before journeying with Cinderella to the castle ball. Each day, Ballet Camp will begin with classical ballet instruction followed by activities such as ballet mime, performance games, and craft projects that will serve as props for the ballet. On the last day of camp, there will be a short recital, during which campers will perform a dance from Cinderella for parents and friends. Teaching our Cinderella Ballet Camp will be Fallon Gannon, who not only is a professional dancer with Ballet Fleming and Dance DelBello, but also is a very experienced dance instructor who has extensive experience teaching preschool and Kindergarten dancers in the Philadelphia area. Crickets, worms, mice, flies, fish,..you never know whats on the menu, but its sure to be gobbled up!! Feeding time at EA is a busy, busy, day and we need your help to make sure all the hungry mouths get their fair share. Throughout the day, a few participants at a time will go behind the scenes with the EA staff and assist in animal husbandry and care. Throughout the day the feeding frenzy will continue...you might see a snake swallow its meal whole, a croc do a death roll on its lunch, or a chameleons long tongue rocket out to grab a cricket. Learn about carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores, and how animals eat. Play games, make a craft, and even a few snacks of your own as you will definitely work up an appetite!
