Build and program robots in this introductory robotics class using the LEGO® WeDo system. Learn basic programming skills, simple engineering concepts, and the names of robot components. Work in small groups to complete several projects using tilt and motion sensors. Teen Horse Day Camp - Stewart, TN
Legend Acres summer camp sessions give horse loving boys and girls the opportunity to spend plenty of time with these wonderful animals. Campers are divided into groups, based on their ability, to provide riders with activities appropriate to their skill levels. In addition, campers take part in the daily grooming, tacking up and care of the horse or pony assigned to them. Campers also participate in activities that promote good horsemanship as well as arts and crafts , snacks and lunch included. We offer three summer camp programs, based on age. The first program is our Kiddie Camp, which is a wonderful experience for children ages 4-7. The camp runs for three consecutive days from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm and is $375.00 for the week. Youth Camp, for ages 8 -11 runs for three consecutive days from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm and is $375.00 per week. We look forward to seeing you at camp!! We offer a Teen Camp for ages 12-17 and runs from 8am-2pm and cost $375.00 for the week. Kiddie and Youth camps are a $75 deposit Teen Camps are $100 deposit. Teen Winter Art Camp: Positive Posters - Louisville, KY
With the New Year upon what better way to start it out than with a positive poster to hang in your home or community! Children can create their own quote for their poster or we will provide a variety for them to choose from. We will provide a variety of creative materials as well as a few inspiration pieces. Although we do teach technique we allow and encourage the voice of each individual child to shine through. In other words, no two paintings or sculptures will ever leave our studio looking the same. We value and honor the voice and creative spirt of each individual child and encourage them to find their own creative path. **Please remember to pack a healthy lunch and snack!

Using MIG welders, metal saws, hot and cold bending systems, and grinders, youll begin to master the basics of welding and metal fabrication. The focus this week will be toward 3d sculptures: anything from abstract to fanciful; candle sticks to garden art; figurative pieces of animals, minerals, vegetables; or anything beyond. Explore the Majesty of Costa Ricas Jungle Animals & Learn Spanish Campers explore the dynamic jungle of Costa Rica. The colorful and intriguing animals are extraordinary and will magically ‘transport campers to the ‘jungle where it is super fun to speak Spanish. During this week campers get to build a large scale ‘time travel machine out of recyclable materials. Campers play active & quiet games, create, sing songs, act, dance, cook, play sports, and discover the joys of learning Spanish through various activities. Theme vocabulary includes colors, verbs, nouns, adjectives all about these animals and their unique features. CELEBRATION DAY: WEDNESDAY (always optional)- Go Wild Day Come to camp dressed in your favorite animal prints or animal tees. During camp choice time choose your favorite wild animal look for our special face paint activity! Notes: There may be options for arranging late pick up the same day.
