This is a week long camp for kids ages 10 through 17 to learn about the field of the Paranormal. Our team "SOS Paranormal", teaches campers proper techniques and safe ways to investigate. We take the campers to many different active locations and also invited very reputable and respected people in the Paranormal field to come and pass along their knowledge. Toddler Boot Camp: 'I'm a Big Kid Now' - Battle Creek, MI
Youngsters and their families will enjoy stories, crafts, songs, and surprises at Toddler Boot Camp. This themed four-week story time is geared to children 1-5 years old to encourage them to transition from the baby stages to a big kid. Stories and songs such as "Bye Bye Binky," " No More Diapers," and "No More Monsters," will be shared to make transitioning for parent and child a fun experience.
Kid's Summer Yoga Camp - Canby, OR
Balance and Harmony is happy to announce our first summer yoga camp for children ages 3-5. This camp will introduce your child to basic yoga poses and breathing exercises through story, songs and games. Each class will also include a creative activity that reinforces our yoga practice. Children will bring a packed snack and we will enjoy time outside at Wait Park. Taught by Sherry Wolfson. Sherry holds a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and a 200 hour Yoga Teaching Certificate. She began teaching preschool and special education over 30 years ago and has taught yoga to preschoolers at Childswork Learning Center in Portalnd for the past 3 years. Classes will be held for 5 weeks (July 1st - 29th) on Wednesdays from 1:00-4:00. Fee-$150 for all 5 days. Youth Session: 3 pm to 5:00 pm daily Youth Session is for participants 3rd to 6th grade as of the 2015 - 2016 school year. Participants will be divided based on age and skill level to maximize learning. On behalf of Coach Bill Dwan, Associate Head Coach of Hopkins and Coach Matt Dwan, Assistant Coach, Loyola Mens Lacrosse, we are excited to partner with the Lambert High School Lacrosse Program to host our 2016 Elite Lax Camp! Due to NCAA Regulations, we are prohibited from advertising current players that will be working at the camp. The Elite Lax Camp features the TOP athletes at each position and ensure a player to coach ratio of 14 to 1 to maximize instruction. Learn from current collegiate players at the TOP of their game!! About Elite Lax Camp: Elite Lacrosse Camp to offer well-rounded lacrosse instruction tailored for all playing levels entwined with important lifes lessons and the significance of education and dedication. Express yourself! with Nelli Shevelkina Become an artist for a week in our art studios – dive into extreme sketching, painting, collage and sculpting. Work with different art media and learn how to create some art materials from scratch. Enhance drawing and painting skills by working on projects from observation. Discover and discuss masterworks. Experiment with many media choices and ideas from your imaginations. Projects include portraits, figures, sketching architecture and landscape outdoors, creating mini murals, collage, and 3-D multi media fabrications. Note: Includes a field trip to the Yale Art Gallery to view artwork and learn about several art media and techniques. Fun with Metal with Connie Pfeiffer Make jewelry and mini-sculpture with copper sheet metal and wire to wear or hang. Stamp, fold, hammer, bend, cut, twist and even heat metal to create pendants, medallions and forms from nature such as pea pods and leaves. Students will explore using basic hand tools, especially hammers, mallets, cutters, files, pliers and torches (one-on-one with instructor) to create works in metal.
