This week delves deeper into the Lego Mindstorms robotics systems. Attendees will learn more about programming the Mindstorms robots and practice more advanced build techniques while making some cool Lego robot projects. This camp runs from 9AM-3PM, M-F. Lunch is provided. This camp is open to students entering 6th-9th grade. Campers must have taken the Middle School Graphics and Robotics camp, or the FLL camp, or have significant experience with FLL competitions prior to attending this camp. 801-585-1726

2016 Memphis Goalkeeper Academy Camp - Mike Rose Soccer Complex
Memphis Goalkeeper Academy is holding a summer camp for all goalkeepers U8-U17 at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex, July 18th-21th. Clark Talley, former University of Memphis goalkeeper, will be leading the camp. We are proud to announce that Reusch USA will be our sponsor for this years camp. The Day Camps will emphasize fundamental skill development. The daily program will feature individual attention, small group instruction, contests and competitions, including 5-on-5 play. This is a campers unique opportunity to experience the University of Dayton Mens Basketball program up close. Camp will meet from Noon-5:30pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; and at 7:00-5:30pm on Friday. Activities will include: arts and crafts, passive games,educational games, group activity games, sports, strength and conditioning, rhythms, and free play. There will be swimming from 4:00-5:00pm in the Middle School pool. Activities will be geared for children 5-12 years of age. Bring a snack, swim suit and towel. Campers should report to the HS cafeteria and enter door #29 on days that camp starts at Noon. Campers will be escorted to the MS Gym after lunch by camp counselors. When camp begins at 7:00 am campers should report to the Middle School Gym and enter through door #36.
