All About Me: Self Portraiture 3-5 (Monday) - Janney Elementary School
Students will learn how to create images of themselves while making self-portraits. They will practice close observation with mirrors as well as correct use of proportion, shading, and tone. Projects include realistic self-portraits in which students will attempt to achieve likeness and ab- stract portraits inspired by modern artists. June 27-30: Photo Safari (Ages 8-11) - Mountain Kids!
Kids and digital cameras in nature – a recipe for fun and stunning images! Campers will capture their unique perspectives of the natural world on their daily adventures in the mountains. On Thursday, campers will have time to select, edit and crop a photo for a Friday art show and celebration! Each day is filled with fundamental lacrosse skill progression drills, easy to understand instruction as well as games and competitions. These lacrosse camps offer beginner to intermediate players the opportunity to build a solid foundation. Beginning Traditional Strings (Fridays) - Viewpoint School
The Beginning Traditional Strings class is for students in Third and Fourth Grade who have no experience and wish to play violin, viola, cello or bass in a traditional class setting. The class will focus on proper instrument posture, note reading and repertoire from the Essential Elements for Strings. These weekly, hour-long lessons include a snack and short break. Students must rent or purchase their own instruments. A book and other instructional materials will be provided. Classes meet on Fridays from 3:15 - 4:15 p.m. 818-591-6597

Summer Inspired on the Farm - Deep Roots Community Farm
Join us for this three day farm adventure! We will plant, tend and eat fresh fruits and vegetables from the gardens, build with natural materials, and explore the farms streams, forests and native prairie. We will tend to the farm animals and learn about respectful methods of animal care. And of course, well make some awesome art projects together, including hand stitched journals, water color paintings, woodworking, origami, upcycled CD art and so much more. During this session our biology lessons will explore monarch butterflies and their habitats. All programming is led by Ana Skemp, M.S.
