This is a wonderful program that will lay the foundation for healthy eating by educating and empowering students (ages 5-8) about basic kitchen safety, creating a healthy balanced plate, how to subsititue ingredients to make meals healthier and so much more! Classes are sold in a session of four, are held on Wednesdays frm January 4th-25th and are two hours long. The first 30 minutes of each class is dedicated to nutrition education including games and activities. The remaining time is dedicated to cooking, eating, and cleanup. Our Core Cooking Program covers topics such as: Kitchen Safety, Cross-Contamination, Healthy Snacks, Fueling Your Body, Healthy Breakfasts, MyPlate Nutrition, Lunch N Munch, Healthy Cooking Substitutions of Kids’ Favorite Foods Activity sheets, recipes, helpful tips, and individual workstations for hands-on activity are included in the course. Cardinal Mens Basketball Day Camp Week 2 2015 - UIW Richard and Janet Cervera Wellness Center
The Cardinals Camp works to improve skills through individual instruction, drills, lectures and games. We feel the staff-camper ratio is very important and maintain a ratio of one coach for each 10 campers. Camp staff will instruct campers on the fundamentals of passing, dribbling and shooting as well as both individual and team offensive and defensive strategies. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Camp Dates: * Week 1 - June 6th - 10th (Friday is a half day) 9:00 am - 4:00 pm $185.00 Full Day Camp $155.00 Half Day Camp * Week 2 - June 27th - July 1st (Friday is a half day) 9:00 am - 4:00 pm $185.00 Full Day Camp $155.00 Half Day Camp -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Registration, Walk-ins, Drop-Off and Pick Up will be held at the UIW Convocation Center. Show: Pippin Heir to the Frankish throne, the young prince Pippin is in search of the secret to true happiness and fulfillment. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield and the intrigues of political power. In the end, though, he finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors, but rather in the un-extraordinary moments that happen every day.
