St. Catherine's Koinonia 3 (SCK3) - Panora, IA
Mark your calendars! It's not-quite-but-almost that time of year again! St. Catherine of Siena will be having its third annual Koinonia retreat at the end of February next year (2016). What's Koinonia? It's a Greek word that means 'community'. This student-led retreat helps students grow in their friendship with the community as well as their relationship with God. More details will come soon, but for a general idea of what's going on, here's a bare-bones schedule: -Friday, Feb. 26: we leave St. Kate's and carpool to the St. Thomas More Retreat Center in Panora, IA in the late afternoon and stay for two nights and what turns out to be two days which we spend in prayer and fellowship with one another -Sunday, Feb. 28: we leave Panora in the late morning/early afternoon and return to DSM Applications will be available in the near future. The cost for the retreat is $25 (financial aid is available to those who need it) and more details will come as we get closer to February. And feel free to invite your friends! You don't have to be Catholic to come!

Read, Read Reading Camp for Kindergartners & First Graders - Bolles Whitehurst Campus
Beat the summer slide with fun projects, activities, and ideas that spark learning. We will concentrate on all areas of the reading process: reading, writing, speaking and listening each day and focus to enhance each students individual reading abilities. Students will participate in activities to build and improve skills in the following areas: Letter recognition, Phonemic awareness, Concepts about print, Phonics, Fluency, Comprehension, Word recognition, Vocabulary and Written response to reading. 904-256-5071

Dream On! - The Georgetown Palace Theatre
One of Shakespeares most famous tales comes to life in this special adaptation of "A Midsummer Nights Dream" designed especially for tweens! This show takes the fear out of Shakespeare, bringing the characters vividly to life with abounding comedy and an outstanding musical score. The basic story remains intact, but is updated with modern vocabulary and music to make it accessible for everyone. This show has many speaking (and singing) roles to introduce students to your favorite characters. From the "rude mechanicals" Quince and Bottom and all the rest to the two sets of "lovers" that prove nothing has changed when it comes to teens having a "crush" on each other, to the wonderful fairy King and Queen with the energetic and mischievous Puck, there is a part for everyone! Setter/Libero - Devaney
Setter/Libero Camp is designed to teach players the basic fundamentals of their specific position. This day camp covers all the aspects of setter/libero training and will provide campers with many drills and exercises that they can do at home. The camp caters to beginning setters/liberos and the most experienced setters/liberos at the high school level. The campers are split up by grade and then groups are adjusted according to skill level. **It is the policy of the University of Nebraska not to discriminate on the basis of sex, age, handicap, race, color, religion, martial status, veterans status, national or ethnic origin or sexual orientation. Discovery Day Camp: Session 2 - Rockhaven Camp and Retreat Center (FPC)
Day camp sessions run Monday – Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with transportation provided to and from First Presbyterian Church. Check in at First Presbyterian Church begins at 8:30 am. Come to one or all four day camp programs which are filled with arts and crafts, games, skits, nature hikes, rock climbing, bible stories, music, worship and fellowship in a safe, fun, Christian environment.
