Summer Camp Parent Open House - Waynesville, NC
Attending one of Parent Open Houses is required in order to register your shool-age child (Rising 1st through Rising 7th graders) for any of Spring 2017 Break Activity Days and any one of the many Summer Day Camp Options for 2017. Kids In The Arts Fall Camp - Knoxville, TN
A kids in the arts camp with various teachers teaching their loves in art, dance, story and performance. Activities included dance, Improv games, sculpture, dream catcher making, watercolor, painting, zen doodle, stained "glass", paper making, poetry, storytelling and more. Artist teachers include Mimi Eichholz, Jennifer White, Felecia Outsey, Kristi Gilleon, Karl Hess, Claudio Barrientos, Cynthia Baglir and Noelle Harb. On Friday we will take a field trip to Narrow Ridge Eath Literacy Center. Chaperons are welcome as wellas drivers to transport kids! Camp is $200. Scholarships are available too so ask about that. Art Across Cultures - During this session, you will make and learn about art all over the world. You will have the chance to try out new techniques and media while making art inspired by cultures near and far. An After School art class where students in grades 1 - 6 will HAVE FUN and learn to draw. By using our simple drawing method and weekly format certified instructors help students create original works of art beyond what they thought possible. We are a drawing based program, complimented with artistic projects and curriculum that never repeat. We offer exposure to many mediums over the course of a students education. Exploring Palo Alto through Digital Photography, 2 - Mitchell Park Community Center (MPCC)
Join us for a full day art camp and learn about the fundamentals of digital photography, including composition, lighting, perspective, contrast, color, portraiture and motion, while you are out shooting in the field. Each morning, kids will take photographs in and around Mitchell Park and one to two field trips will be scheduled. In the afternoons, camp will take place in the computer lab at Mitchell Park Community Center, where kids will use PhotoshopTM to enhance, manipulate and finish digital images.
