Through workshops, clinics, and private instruction, our comprehensive camp experience is designed to hone music performance and ensemble skills in a creative and fun environment. We know from experience that playing in a band situation speeds learning and creates “seasoned” musicians. Even relatively advanced musicians are amazed at the amount of progress they make when regularly playing with other musicians. February Visit & Info Session - Wheatley Heights, NY
A Usdan Visit and Information Session is an excellent way to learn about our many summer programs and what makes them both fun and educational. We begin with a guided walk through campus, introducing the music, art, dance, theater, writing, chess, nature and recreation departments. Our administrative leadership will share a few ideas about what shapes the Usdan program, from where we draw our inspiration, and what makes a summer at Usdan unlike any other. We will explain the enrollment process, and you will be given a chance to talk in small groups, or individually, with our knowledgeable team of arts faculty and staff members. We end the visit with a self-guided walk and exploration of the grounds. Summer Day Camp - Marquette, NE
Is your child excited about camp but not quite ready to spend the night? Good news! Timberlake offers Day Camp every Wednesday of regular camp for children from Kindergarten to 5th Grade. Each Day Camp offers a rotation of different typical camp activities. We provide lunch for every camper, and they are put into small "cabin" groups, always in the care of our trained staff. NOTE: Preregistration for Day Camp is not necessary. If you wish, you can simply register and pay when you arrive at camp. Schedule 8:40-9 am - Check in (Follow the signs!) 9:30-11:30 - Rotation of games, camp activities 11:30-12:30 - Lunch and change for swimming 12:30-3:00 - Boats, swim time and camp store 3:00-3:30 - Bible Time with the camp pastor 4 pm - Pick up time What to Bring Wear clothes that can get dirty and muddy. Swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen for the lake. Water bottle. Optional: Snack money for the camp store (lunch is provided).

KID'S BEGINNER SEWING ART CAMP June 15 - 17 @10am - 2pm Ages: 12-16 The kids will learn basic sewing skills and print making to create their own fabric. They will complete two projects: a pillowcase and backpack bag. All supplies and materials are included. We have sewing machines, but it's best for your child to learn on their own machine if you have one. Cost includes all supplies: $125 Bring lunch, snacks and drinks. Limited Space. !! Fiddlin Fun will boost your musical confidence and performance skills through a journey into an alternative performance style, through Celtic and American Fiddle Tunes. In Jazzy Jammin you will learn cool jazz rhythms, bowings, swing and bebop style, syncopation and different scales.Open to violin, viola, cello and stringed bass. Taught by Dr. Melinda Rubin. Please register by May 10, 2016 On June 17th, at the last class, parents are welcome to celebrate in the students accomplishments. Requirements: Students must have completed at least 2 years of study on their instrument and be competent in notereading so they can fully enjoy the class experience.
