Time: 9am-12pm Ages: 4-10 *pick up and drop off will be on 11th St and Manhattan Ave, near Beckers. There is a city event at the pier this week, so please leave extra time to get through traffic. *snacks provided *t-shirt included Activities may include: digging for sand crabs, playing in the waves, dissecting squid, learning about sharks, looking at plankton using a microscope, building sand sculptures, coke explosions, making crafts, building a boat, doing experiments, touching live animals, shooting a lemon cannon, playing beach games, and more! *A schedule of what activities will be done each day is available on our website: / Important Information: No refunds or credit without 2 business days notice for cancellation of any class -10% charge for all other cancellations -$10 charge for all class scheduling changes -There is a $10 charge per child for each 15 minutes a guardian is late for pick up -CPR/First aid certified staff present at all camps -All water activities done in front of LA county lifeguard tower -Average 3 campers per counselor, Maximum of 5 campers per counselor 310-379-8117

Our goal is to refresh your children spiritually as well as socially before returning back to school. This will be a great opportunity for all of us to get connected and stay connected for years to come. Promised Land Ministries is a Christian based organization that holds retreats for an array of different ministries including youth. We have joined together with them to create an eventful, fun-filled experience for August. Our days will be packed with loads of fun outdoor activities, balanced out with daily devotions and small group breakout sessions. We will be camping in tents so please be aware. This retreat is for members only between the ages of 12-18. The cost will be $90.00 per individual covering everything including; food, shelter, transportation, activities, etc. We will be having multiple fundraisers prior in the hopes that every child will be paid for in full. Advanced Artist Cooking Camp - Summer 2016 - The Big Table Cooking Company
This camp is designed for our older Advanced Artists who are looking for an art class to challenge their skill level and help them build a personal style. We will explore new and exciting art mediums taught by our expert art teachers. Afternoons will be full of artistic wonder while the mornings will be filled with culinary delights crafted by our campers under the guidance of culinary expert Sharon Masciocco. Does your child love science? And love to cook? This course is where cooking meets science! In this session, the campers learn about the science that goes behind cooking. But not all recipes are edible! The children will make lots of fun putties and slimes too! From growing yeast to building a radio out of a fruit to baking the yummiest science of all! The children will learn that their kitchen is filled with wonderful products that create some very explosive, gooey, slimy, fun and delicious science! We will build some unique items with basic things from our kitchen, make silly putty, arctic slime, and even play dough with your own scented design. Students build a sandcastle without ever stepping foot on the beach! They also change the properties of chocolate to make their very own chocolate bars! With some basic scientific knowledge, your child will learn to build a battery out of a pickle! Have your child join us for an educational experience that isnt just delicious, its also fun!
