LATEST CAMPS NEWS: 03rd 2016 Camp, Buckaroo DAY Camp - Blue Point Stables
This Camp is a 5 (Five) Day Buckaroo Day Camp. Camp begins each day at 9:00 EST and ends at 4:00 pm in the afternoon. The Wednesday Night Overnight stay is offered only as an option, and has an additional charge. Campers are not required to select this option. Campers will be assigned a horse to ride and care for. In the larger enrollment classes, campers share assigned horses. Activities that the campers will be involved with are... Riding Lessons (generally twice a day, weather permitting) Grooming, Stall Care & Management, Equine Characteristics, Arts and Crafts, Horse Health and Welfare and Swimming Pool fun at the end of each day. Plus, making friends or renewing previous relationships with new and returning campers alike. Campers have the option to purchase and challenge the test for a CHA riding level. Campers receive the appropriate CHA Riding Level Book. Successful campers are awarded the appropriate Certificate, Patch and Pin. Campers falling below the testing standards are allowed to retest. Week 5: Improv! - The MacDuffie School
Interested in letting your creativity run wild on stage? Then choose Improv this summer! Improvisational theatre (Improv) is any unscripted theatrical performance. Completely spontaneous and absolutely wild, improv develops stage presence and interpersonal skills! Each day will be filled with fun stage games and activities including scenarios made popular by the TV show Whose Line is it Anyway? and many more. High School Harp Solo and Ensemble Camp - University of Texas at Austin
The High School Harp Solo and Ensemble Workshop is open to entering grades 9, 10, 11 or 12. The program is an exciting week of solo and ensemble experiences exploring classical traditions and improvisational styles. In addition, participants have the opportunity to attend special master classes on a variety of topics including selected orchestral audition excerpts, chamber music, harp maintenance, and career discussions. Do you want to improve your basketball skills this summer? This camp is designed to make you a more complete basketball player. We train players to be comfortable in the most uncomfortable situations. Whether you are a advanced player or a beginner, the drills taught at this camp will help you improve your game. Come work on the everyday FUNdamentals of your game: shooting, footwork, passing, ball-handling and defense. The only way to improve the proper way is to practice the proper things and then fall in love with the process.
