Firefighter Youth Camp - Limerick, PA
Limerick Fire Company's 4th Annual YOUTH FIREFIGHTER CAMP June 19-23, 2017; 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Ages 6-13 years of age Why try this Camp? 335AM: Fundamentals of Programming & Python Programming - NextGen Tech Learning
This camp does not require any prior programming knowledge or experience and camp is a designed for this age group. Python is a widely used, easy to learn, high-level object-oriented & structured programming language with efficient high-level data structures. In this programming camp, students will first learn the fundamentals of programming and then move on to learn programming concepts using Python programming language including variables, datatypes, conditional statements, basic loops, strings and graphics etc. ** Python is widely used programming language from top companies (Google/YouTube, Dropbox, Pinterest etc) to the top universities. Python has become the most popular introductory programming language in many top universities. Camp Greenwell - Week 9 - The Greenwell Foundation
Ages 6-12 by June 20, 2016 [ages 6 (who have completed kindergarten) –12 by first day of camp session]. Camp Greenwell is everything nature and adventure with opportunities to kayak, hike, craft, fish, do archery, play and discover. Mid-week, campers will take a wagon ride over to the Manor House area where they can build forts with bamboo, explore the gardens, play water games and capture the flag, visit the Barn and participate in our Nature Time program. Daily free time allows the campers to let their imagination and interests drive their play while in the outdoors. Each afternoon, campers are provided an afternoon snack and each week there is a chance to make Smores. The week ends with Tye-Dye Friday for a take-home memory of the week at camp. Camp Greenwell is offered all eight weeks of our summer camp program. Both AM and PM Extended care and Drop-In Extended Care is available. Summer Stretch Yoga Camp: 4th of July Theme - Marine Park Building
Weekly Theme: 4th of July Balance like a palm tree, roar like a lion, and stretch like a giraffe in this fun-filled yoga camp! Camp begins with a 40 minute class where students learn new poses and breathing techniques each day on an imaginary yoga adventure. Class ends by relaxing with peaceful music. After class, the excitement continues with yoga stories and games, a break for lunch, and a creative take-home art activity. Art projects are yoga themed and will relate to the poses learned that day. Fun activities throughout the week include parachute games, treasure hunts, outdoor craft time, face painting, and more! Yoga has been shown to improve focus, confidence, and coordination in children. Please bring a snack, lunch, and water. A $15 nonrefundable material fee is due to the instructor on the first day of camp. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PRIORITY ONLINE REGISTRATION (for Santa Monica Residents only) runs March 2 (6 am) through March 8. Created for our youngest campers who are ready for a 3-night sleepover, this shortened version of our camp program offers a great introduction to summer camp.
