Sunflowers are a joyful symbol of summer. These North American native Asters can light up both a field and face. In this camp we will dive into what makes these instantly recognizable flowers so amazing, and unlock some secrets they may hold in their heads. Through careful observation and sunny inspiration we will complete several sunflower themed projects using mixed media. Dessert Benefit & Silent Auction - Royal Family KIDS Camp #273 - Lewis
On Friday, April 29th, 2016, Royal Family KIDS Camp #273 will be hosting their annual Dessert Benefit & Silent Auction. The event will take place at the Lewiston Community Center (1424 Main Street - Lewiston, ID) from 6pm-9pm. The cost is $5/person, or $20 for a family of 5. This is our biggest fundraising event of the year. Royal Family KIDS Camp is a non-profit week-long summer camp for foster children who have been abused, abandoned, neglected, etc. All of the proceeds from this event go directly to the children we support. Age 13-16, Session 08 - LMSS - A
Camp provides both first-time and experienced students with a basic understanding of sailing in a recreational, fun environment using the LMSS 420 sailboats, which are perfect for 2-3 sailors. Students will learn the basics of sailing; upwind, downwind, and sailing between two points, along with sail trim, knot tying and terminology. Graduation takes place at the end of each session, parents are encouraged to attend and see their sailors in action. 9524041645.0

Tennis, Tues. & Thurs. (Grades 1-5) - Bolles Ponte Vedra Beach Campus
Students will be introduced to Tennis using the Quickstart method of instruction (when appropriate, based on skill level). Learning the fundamentals of the game, scoring and sportsmanship are integral parts of the class. Each child should bring a racket and water bottle with them to each class. Spring Inspired on the Farm - Deep Roots Community Farm
Ahhh, Spring! It will be here before we know it, and Deep Roots Community Farm and Inspired are excited to offer another great Grow La Crosse Farm/Art Camp! Join us for an afternoon of fun and education on the farm! We will care for the farm animals, learn about the biology of the natural world on a farm, make art projects, and enjoy free time in our beautiful rural setting. In this session, additional focus will be given to planting seeds in the garden and in take home pots, as well as horse care (grooming and feeding) and ART! All programming is led by Ana Skemp, M.S. Ecology, owner of Deep Roots Community Farm and Jeni Blake, artist and owner of Inspired. 9:1 staff to child ratio. Children will be asked to bring their own healthy snack.
