LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Percussion Camp - MPLS - MacPhail Center for Music - Mpls
Build your skills on all percussion instruments in this intensive and fun five-day camp. Each day you will play exciting music in small percussion ensembles with other students of similar ability and skill level on a variety of instruments. Students will have the opportunity to select clinics that focus on specific instruments such as drum set, snare drum, timpani and mallet keyboard instruments. During the week students will also learn practical skills such as making their own mallets and tuning their own snare drum. All student ensembles will perform for family and friends on the last day of camp. Students must have one year of band of a year of private instruction in preparation for this camp. Students outside of the age range but who have had comparable experience may contact the camp coordinator, Bob Adney, at 612-767-5410, for placement. Kiddie Cat T-Ball 2015-16 (K3, K4, & K) - St. Lukes Japonica Campus
Games played on Sunday afternoon. This is a six (6) week session. Time depends on number of teams - 1st group at 2:00, 2nd group if needed, at 3:15. Boys will receive a t-shirt and ball cap, girls will receive a t-shirt and visor. Players may wear shorts or baseball pants per coach decision, and regular tennis shoes will be fine. Players should provide their own bat and glove - YDL provides helmet to use, but you may provide your own if you so choose. Felting - The Evergreen School
Join the felting fun! Students will be encouraged to create their own patterns. They will be taught to use basic sewing skills making felt stuffies. The children will also be taught to needle felt, turning wool batting into flat felted works of art, and 3-D felted figures. 206-957-1533
