Act It Out! - Flower Valley Elementary School
Brought to you by the C.A.R.E. Actor (creative awareness responsive education) program, comes alive as we act out storybooks and make our own costumes and props using a variety of art materials! In his camp, students will experience how the theater arts and fine arts go hand in hand while discussing topics such as respect, kindness, and peace through storybooks. This class will have a final presentation on the last day of camp. Come join us this summer! G.A.L.S (Ginger Adventure, Leadership and Service) - Ginger Cascades
Are you ready to do more at Ginger Cascades and become an important part of camp? In addition to all your favorite camp activities, you will have an opportunity to plan and lead a program for younger campers. You will learn new leadership skills, plan and complete a service project and go on two trips! During your first week, you will visit High Gravity Adventures Aerial Adventure Park in Boone, and then you will learn about the logistics of trip planning as you plan your off-site adventure for your second week! There will be plenty of time to relax and enjoy all the traditional camp activities you know and love from cascading to archery to campfire songs. Due to the nature of this program, girls must be able to swim two laps in the Ginger Cascades pool, tread water for two minutes and weigh at least 80 pounds to participate. 336-274-8491

Redstone Engineering and Minecraft Modding - Ethical Culture
Young engineers will level up their creative knowledge with our custom educational version of Minecraft. Well show them how to design and build with redstone, the information and electricity conducting material in Minecraft that can be used to teach students fundamental concepts of electrical and mechanical engineering, engineering design theory, and logic skills. Well use redstone circuitry to complete various projects that might involve moving devices, functional computing machines, or even audio visual sequences based on basic programing logic, all while the students are in a virtual world of their making. Minecraft becomes a powerful learning tool as we help guide our young makers into new discoveries about engineering, circuitry, computing, and design. Along the way these makers will also build skills in collaboration, communication, and digital citizenship. With MakerStates help, Minecraft screen-time can be turned into STEM-mastery time. Young Paleontologist (HALF DAY ONLY) - San Juan Del Rio Catholic School
This is our HALF DAY option for Young Paleontologist. Camp Young Paleontologist will get your child excited about dinosaurs, fossils, and more! Activities and experiments explore the prehistoric era. Football - Seattle Preparatory School
The Seattle Prep Varsity football coaches will be hosting a youth football camp for rising 5th-8th grade students, July 5th-8th, 1-4pm daily. The camp will feature drill and technique work designed specifically for the young athlete to build a foundation that will lead to years of success on the gridiron. The camp will feature varsity coaches and players in a fast-paced, fun, and competitive structure that is tailored to any skill level. We will focus on the fundamental skills of stance, footwork, hand placement, shed, safety, and angles for all defensive positions. Offensively, we will cover stance, footwork, hand and head placement, blocking techniques, ball security, throwing, receiving, and explosive running back techniques. Our staffs goal is to provide each camper with a fun and exciting week of football. Most importantly, we will teach a winning attitude that will enable each camper to become the best individual and team-player they can be.
