Scottsburg Warrior Youth Football Camp is ran by the SHS Football coaching staff, players, and former players. The camp is open to grades K-8 (2016) and the cost is $40. LIGHT TO DARK: DARKROOM EXPLORATION - Walker-MacKenzie Studio - Gertrude Herbert
Instructor: Rosanne Stutts The technical aspects of black-and-white photography will be emphasized so that students can work more creatively with their camera and in the darkroom. Camera operations, use of equipment such as lenses, tripod, and light meter, and correct film selection are among the topics to be covered. Learn basic density and contrast controls for both negatives and prints, along with proper film development. Basic darkroom procedures, safety, printmaking techniques, burning and dodging, toning, archival processing and print presentation will also be discussed. Please bring your own 35-mm camera with manual controls. Ahoy ye pirates and mermaids! Join the Captain and his crew as we spend a week with the pirates and mermaids. Each day, campers will read about both pirates and mermaids and engage in themed crafts. Middle - The Prairie School
Designed specifically to meet the needs of middle schoolers, the daily program offers a diverse selection of activities, arts, academics and experiences. Campers explore science, arts and crafts, math, environmental education, computer keyboarding and software, and geocaching each week. The camp offers instruction and supervised play in a variety of sports. In addition, campers will learn the importance of teamwork and charity as they join the other Hawks Haven campers on field trips when appropriate.
