2016 - Camp 4 Kids CIT Try-Outs - Orange, CA
The heartbeat of Camp4Kids is our volunteer staff. After all, without a great staff, who would bring the magic of summer camp to the kids and teens who need it most? Great Counselors aren't just born, they're carefully trained! Our Counselor-in-Training program (CIT for short) is the venue through which we teach teens the skills and expertise necessary to care for campers. CITs must be a minimum of 16-years-old at the time of camp. Though previous camp experience is not required, it certainly helps. After extensive training "down the hill" (outside of camp), CITs are paired with Senior Counselors while in camp, receiving first hand experience and one-on-one training, learning what it takes to be an effective leader while in a supervised and controlled environment. Being a great Counselor comes from years of training as a CIT. Come down and try out! RSVP through private message.

It has become the largest full-gospel camp in America reaching over 20,000 each summer. Kids After Schoo Core Cooking Camp, Ages 5-8 (Bellevue) - Bellevue, WA
This is a wonderful program that will lay the foundation for healthy eating by educating and empowering students (ages 5-8) about basic kitchen safety, creating a healthy balanced plate, how to subsititue ingredients to make meals healthier and so much more! Classes are sold in a session of four, are held on Wednesdays frm January 4th-25th and are two hours long. The first 30 minutes of each class is dedicated to nutrition education including games and activities. The remaining time is dedicated to cooking, eating, and cleanup. Our Core Cooking Program covers topics such as: Kitchen Safety, Cross-Contamination, Healthy Snacks, Fueling Your Body, Healthy Breakfasts, MyPlate Nutrition, Lunch N Munch, Healthy Cooking Substitutions of Kids’ Favorite Foods Activity sheets, recipes, helpful tips, and individual workstations for hands-on activity are included in the course. Cooking Camps - Chopped! - Capital View-Homewood Local Park
Never have food challenge reality shows been so popular and Chopped! is a favorite here at Tiny and Gourmet Chefs! We like it so much we decided to base a whole week long camp on the concept. Our version has the added twist of focusing on different cuisines every day of camp. So, each day the Tiny and Gourmet Chef campers will be presented with a basket with 3 or 4 ingredients, which reflect these different cuisines French, Italian, Mexican, Asian and All-American. Middlesex Youth Camp - Middlesex Youth Camp
Middlesex Camp is divided into a Senior Camp and Junior / Pee-wee Camp. Each group has its own tent on the field which serves as a home base during the day. The camp features recreational activities including arts and crafts, science and nature, sports and other organized games, weekly theme-related activities, and special events. Pee-Wee campers will have swim lessons. Junior campers will have swim and tennis lessons. Senior Campers will have tennis lessons twice a week and free swim daily. On rainy days, camp is held in the clubhouse and also under an awning over a paddle court. The philosophy of the camp remains low key summer fun, giving the children a taste of the many different activities the club has to offer, but also a time to simply play and build friendships. Coach Scott Sullivan will hold practices on Mondays and Thursday beginning at 3:30. Practices will conclude around dusk. Members of the Cincinnati Football Staff will lead each Position along with local high school coaches focusing on skill development in both Offensive and Defensive Positions.
