Animal Olympics August 8th – August 12th 9am – 4pm (Ages 5 – 11) Monday – Friday READY, SET, GO… your just in time for the summer Olympics! So you think you can kick, bite, jump, and pull? How do stack up against the best? Now its your chance to prove it in this animal vs. kid smack down! How do you size up running against a Komodo Dragon? Can you hold your breath as long as a giant sea turtle? Pull as hard as a giant octopus, or bite as hard as a croc? EcoAdventures will provide the outdoor and indoor Arena you bring the skills. This August, its kids against beasts in a battle on the wild side. This is NO ordinary Olympics here at EcoAdventures. We will challenge you both physically and mentally. Do you have what it takes to lay down in cockroaches, eat bugs, race and alligator? We cant wait to see who wins GOLD, SILVER or BRONZE! Field trip: Easy Rider Horse Ranch Hanover, MD Learn about Equestrian science, riding, training, husbandry, and go on a pony ride or TRAIL ride and groom horses. KidSport Mornings Ages 4 -13[] Kids enjoy a variety of team sports, individual sports, team building games, fitness and other physical education activities and swimming lessons Director: Kerry Winkelseth, UM School of Kinesiology Campers bring snacks and water. Staff will collect your camper from your car at 8 AM and bring your camper to your car at 12 Noon. KidSport offers children the opportunity to learn and refine non-competitive sport-specific, team building and social skills. The activities are age appropriate and developed by experts in childrens physical education. KidSport is staffed by certified teachers as well as physical education and education majors focused on providing a first-rate experience for your kids! Hideout Theatre Improv Camp - Post Camp - Week 1 - JCC Campus
Improv Camp is the perfect place for the budding comedian, drama queen, or hilarious ham. We have a blast playing improv games, learning how to tell stories on the stage, and creating fabulous scenes. In the end, we take all of this and show it off in a final performance. Wright Denny Day Camp - Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Commission
Spend your summer vacation with us! Wright Denny Day Camp offers 2 trips to the Jefferson Memorial pool per week and weekly themed crafts and activities. T-shirt is included in camp price.
