The Home and School Association is proud of LEP, a program for managing afterschool enrichment at Lafayette. The HSA will not directly operate any specific afterschool offerings, but will oversee and centralize the process of registration, attendance and program conformance to all DCPS mandates for using school facilities. Classes vary in content and approach to accommodate different learning styles and interests as well as covering a variety of ages. Enrichment programs aim to allow kids to experiment, take risks, learn new skills, make new friends and develop confidence to succeed inside and outside the classroom. Youth Winter Camp 2015 - Martinsville, IN
Dear friends in Christ! The Living Spring camp would like to cordially invite you to the 2015 Youth Winter Bible Camp at Highland Lakes in Martinsville, IN December 27-31, 2015! This camp will be a fantastic and memorable event. We look forward to it as another opportunity for us all to share our time together at this beautiful place where you can catch up with one another, have sports, games and fun, and most importantly, it presents an invaluable opportunity to give praise to the Lord and indulge into His holy Word to learn more about our Lord Jesus Christ! The topic this year is "If you believe, you will see the glory of God" (John 11:40). We were able to secure this location for $170 for the entire duration of the camp per person. We encourage everyone to come earlier rather than later to be able to appreciate the time we have together. Furthermore, on December 31, 2015 immediately after the Camp, everyone is invited to the Grace of Christ Baptist Church in Evansville, IN for the New Year celebration! This year we again are planning to light up the lanterns and let them out into the night sky, it was a spectacular view...

3/13 3:00pm SEUSSICAL Audition - PYT Studios
Pre-register for a 3:00pm audition time for Peninsula Youth Theatres CENTERSTAGE production of "SEUSSICAL." Registration guarantees you a spot in the 3:00pm audition group. You must be age 8-18 or have prior executive director approval. Children must be 8 by 3/17/16 to participate. PLEASE NOTE: TO KEEP YOUR SPOT you must arrive by 2:30pm with your paperwork completed for check in and measurements. If you have not arrived by 2:45pm your spot will be given to someone on the waiting list and you will be moved to the next available audition slot. We cannot guarantee that that will be the next audition group. Have fun learning about fish and fishing while using maps, engineering, fisheries research, and innovative design while constructing a fishing rig. Use dip nets, a cast net, rod & reel, and fish traps to provide background for biological observations. Look to the past to explore the ocean lore of mermaids, sea monsters, and giant squid as well as glacial and fresh water influence. Perform a fish dissection and learn more about fishing in the past, present, and future. Includes: fishing, engineering, boat trips, & snorkel adventures 860-535-9362
Adventure Day Camp - Meineke Recreation Center (MRC)
This fun-filled Monday-Friday camp is designed for your child to take part in eleven weeks of recreational activities, swimming, field trips and more. Camp is held out of the Meineke Recreation Center, 220 East Weathersfield Way. Extended care is also offered for an additional fee. Campers are asked to bring a sack lunch and suit everyday, unless specified. Parents will receive a detailed camp calendar prior to the start of camp. Drone Science Remote Control (RC) and Drone technology is the future! Landing rovers on planets, drones in the skies today or robotic assembly systems, all have similar technologies in use. Get in on the ground level now! Learn the basic mechanics and actual operational skills of remote controlled vehicles and drones.
