Our teenagers will participate in a 4-H service project “Chemo Kits” for local individuals suffering from cancer. They will also learn how to apply for 4H scholarships and so much more.

This annual leadership training camp is a gathering of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, asexual, allied, and intersex (LGBTQQAAI) designed and created by youth activists and allies who are dedicated to defeating homophobia and transphobia and creating brave, supportive schools for everyone. Camp is driven by young people. This year we are renting a huge camp at Cuivre River State Park with Cabins, Dinning Hall, Firepit and even a pool located just a little over an hour from St. Louis, MO next to Troy, MO. Summer Weekend Camping Trip - North Atlanta Christians - Catawa Falls
Summer Camping Trip! Come join is for the annnual weekend of fun in the woods! Catawa Falls Campground offers great streamside tent camping sites, cabins and fantastic waterfalls to explore. We will be hiking and exploring the area around that Campground. We will be 25minutes from Asheville, NC The cost will be roughly $10.00 per person per day of tent camping. The sites we will secure are right off the river! We will have a nearby pavillion to grill and cook. There are MANY cabins to choose from, the cabins have electricity but no running water. All showers will be at the bath house in the middlefo the campground. Those that want to paticipate in getting a cabin please let me know and we can firgure out the cost per person. Campfires every night! Get your marshmellows ready! THIS IS A KID FRIENDLY EVENT!! Kids will have plenty to do with creeks to wade through and a playground nearby. Thsi is going to be a FUN FANTASTIC weekend! We hopeyou can join us!

Home School Comes Alive with Shakespeare - Location: Center for The Creative Arts
For the Shakespeare buff or novice this is a fun yet educational program as we make history come alive through performance of a Shakespeare classic. This year we are adding a new dimension in that we will take one of his classic tragedy plays and add a humorous twist. While the play will keep with the essence of the original storyline and characters, students will find this play highly entertaining to perform. This truly unique course is especially designed for the home-¬schooled that incorporates history, literature, and performance. History comes alive as students create and act out their interpretation of imaginary and real characters during Shakespeares time. Students will also learn performance skills as they practice techniques for stage acting along with the wonderful experience of performing an adaptation of one of Shakespeares classic plays. Plays under consideration are Hamlet and Romeo & Juliet with a twist. A fully staged performance will be presented for family and friends at the conclusion of this course. Inspired by The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, The Grunch tells the story of Rudy Grunch, a grumpy 6th grader who always feels like an outsider. When the entire school gets excited about the annual school musical, he comes up with a perfect plan to ruin it for everyone; hell steal the sets, costumes and lights the night before it opens.
