Skyhawks Minihawk Camp This multi-sport program gives children a positive first step into athletics. Baseball, basketball and soccer are taught in a safe, structured environment with lots of encouragement and a big focus on fun. Our Mini-Hawk games and activities were designed to allow campers to explore balance, movement, hand/eye coordination, and skill development at their own pace. Skyhawks staff are trained to handle the specific needs of young athletes. Sport Specific Requirements: All participants receive a t-shirt, water bottle and a merit award. The participant-to-coach ratio is approximately 8:1. Participants should wear appropriate clothing and running shoes, bring two snacks and a water bottle. The summer is the perfect time for your teen to learn how to sew clothes! The Staple Dress is a fun, beginner first clothing project. In this workshop, we will teach your teen how to read and cut a pattern, and sew a dress of their very own! A basic knowledge of sewing is required for this class. July 21st-22nd: 1pm-5pm (8 hours total) $65 includes pattern and elastic thread. Campers should bring fabric (see chart) and coordinating thread. Campers can bring a snack if desired. Ages 13 and up
