She currently holds a position as a Penn State fitness instructor working with pregnant women as part of the Healthy Moms Research Study. Most recently, Marlena earned her 200-hour registered yoga teacher certification. She found her yoga practice as a stay at home mother to her two small children. Marlena was drawn to pursue this certification due to the benefits she found through her own yoga practice. Her yoga practice has allowed her to find space, connection and possibility through the physical experience, things she hopes to help other students find as well. Her goal is to bring classes filled with truth, authenticity, love and fun to the State College community.
