What Are the Activities like at Summer Camp?
The whole point of summer programs is to keep youth busy. Thus, most kids wake up and have breakfast by 8am. Traditional activities include arts and crafts, sports, swimming and boating. There are groups that offer specialized or advanced activities like archery, horseback riding, and sailing. An activity like horseback riding may have an additional cost or require that youth come to camp with special equipment and clothing. Specialty camps have specific classes or activities linked to their mission. For example, academic programs will include classes, religious camps will have Bible study, and leadership-focused programs may have public speaking sessions....

Rogue Robots: LEGO Robotics Camp - San Angelo, TX
Robots aren’t just inventions in a galaxy far, far away— they exist here on Earth, at your local library! Join us this Winter Break for a Star Wars-themed robotics camp. Each day we’ll watch a clip from the movies, and build a LEGO robot inspired by the film. The library will be hosting two four-day camps—attending all four days is not mandatory, but each class will build upon the previous classes. No prior experience in LEGO robotics necessary, but seating is limited so RSVP is required. This is a Teen Republic program, open only to patrons in grades 6-12. Free of charge. We will meet from 3-4:30pm in the Community Room.

Hockey Camp for Girls & Boys - Hopkins Campus
Join 2013 and 2014 State Champion coach Shawn Reid and Blake players for hours of skill development and fun. There will be 90 minutes of ice time each session followed by dryland training. In addition to hockey equipment, campers will need to bring tennis shoes. This camp is for players with hockey experience. 952-988-3463

Indoor Volleyball Camp - Ages 5-8 - 535 West County Road B-2
Intro to volleyball through skill development and small group games. Staff will focus on helping athletes learn the rules of volleyball while working on team play and sportsmanship. The IDEAL School and Kids Creative are partnering again to offer a third year of after school enrichment courses and supervised play activities for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade, Monday through Friday. Virtual Reality Delve into science of Virtual Reality when you create your own video games and virtual worlds. Discover how to make fun and engaging worlds that can be explored on a PC, phone, or tablet. Learn the proper workflow to create custom environments, objects and player challenges.
