CBMM’s Kids Club summer camps for 6-7 Year Olds - Saint Michaels, MD
Beginning June 20 and continuing through July 29, the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is offering its week-long, half day Kids Camps, which bring age-appropriate Chesapeake-themed camps for children 4-7 years of age. Led by a CBMM educator, young Kids Club campers explore the magic of the Chesapeake Bay’s people, animals, and watercraft through fun and interactive activities, stories, games, and crafts. CBMM’s summer camps for children 4-5 years of age are offered during the weeks of June 20, July 4, and July 18; camps for children 6-7 years of age are offered the weeks of June 27, July 11, and July 25. Daily camps take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with campers meeting at CBMM’s Dorchester House and exploring the museum’s 18-acre campus and numerous exhibition buildings as part of the program. Participation is limited, with camps filling fast and pre-registration required. The cost for the week-long camp is $125 for CBMM members, or $150 for non-members, with scholarships available. *NOTE - THIS CLASS IS FOR EXT DAY STUDENTS ONLY. CLASS IS HELD FROM 3-4pm* Class meets on Wednesdays on the following dates: 4/13, 4/20, 4/27, 5/4, 5/11, & 5/19 Introducing students to the fun of science through hands-on interactive experiments, adventures, and entertainment. We develop curriculum allowing students to experience how science works in the real world -- presenting programs in a nurturing, encouraging environment where students build self-esteem while learning. Camp Casa (Ages 12-14) - Casa Mañana
Camp Casa is a place for students ages 8-14 of all skill levels to come and participate in professional training in the performing arts. It is a place for beginners to develop their theatrical craft and have fun, as well as a place for the advanced to hone their artistic skills. In addition to rehearsing and producing a full-length show (see below), campers will take classes in acting, music and dance. This years Camp Casa show will be THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE JR. By Gilbert and Sullivan! Camp will be held Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM, June 27-July 15 2016. Performances of THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE JR. will be the weekend of July 15-17. The cost of Camp Casa is $1,000, plus a non-refundable $25.00 registration fee. A deposit of at least 10% of the full cost of the camp is due upon registration. The remaining balance is due no later than the first day of Camp (Monday, June 27th). You may cancel your registration up until 5PM on Monday, June 6th. After that, you agree to pay your remaining balance unless we are able to register someone from the waitlist to fill your spot. Tuition does not include tickets for performances. 817-321-5040

A creative combination of modern dance elements and the classical ballet elements. Dancers will focus on barre work, technique, floor work, flexibility, strength, conditioning and combinations.
