In addition to the weekly themed activities, campers have daily exploration time in our museum. All full-day camps are available to children entering 1st-7th grade for the 2016-2017 school year. For Boys and Girls ages 4-12 We are very excited about our location for the Summer!! This camp offers a combination of traditional sports games like floor hockey, soccer, basketball, flag football, handball, wiffleball, physical education activities such as tag games, pinball, battleship, virtual space tag, north south, gold rush, capture the football, and various cooperative games. We ask that our full day campers bring a (peanut butter free) snack and lunch and water bottle, and our half day campers bring a peanut butter free snack and water bottle. Children are divided by age into small groups and will participate in developmentally appropriate activities for their groups. Generally the groups contain children of no more than a year apart and we do our best to maintain an 8:1 ratio of campers to coaches and sometimes even 6:1 for our youngest groups. Come get a taste of hardware hacking and electronics in our 3-day spring break Arduino & Electronics Workshop. Were very excited to introduce students to working with microprocessors, sensors, motors, and other amazing tools. By the end of this course, students will know how to build basic circuits connected to their Arduinos, and will be able to write code to control their hardware using the Arduino IDE. This is a great option for students wanting to get a taste of code, hardware, and electrical engineering over their spring break! Students will get their own Arudino kits (which they can keep at the end of the course) and will work in small groups to build and explore the world of Arduino sensors and actuators.
