JUNE 13 - JUNE 17 Monday through Friday Ages 10-14 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm Future pastry chefs create detailed cakes, pies and breads. More advanced decorating styles and skills are practiced to create their own “masterpieces.” The final day will be dedicated to our own baking competition. Kid's in the Kitchen Camp - Mays Landing, NJ
Our fourth week of cooking camp is for our 8-13 year old age group. In this 5 day fun filled camp, kids will visit the very places where food come's from and that's not the frozen food isle of the grocery store. Each day, we will explore the very places where beautiful, delicious, healthy food comes from. Then, it's back to the kitchen where we will create yummy dishes with the products that we learned about. Kids will have totally hands on experience both in and outside the kitchen. They will learn about nutrition, sustainability, responsible food sourcing along with basic cooking techniques, safe food handling, basic knife skills, recipe reading and so much more. Classes will be Monday thru Thursday from 8am-2pm with a fun cooking competition on Friday where the kids will cook for the parent's and compete for titles like most creative, dish, best knife skills, best use of cooking techniques and more. Chicago Bulls Power Moves Camp (9-14yrs) La Grange - La Grange White Sox Academy
Our Power Moves camp is designed to teach players how to become more productive offensive players in the paint and the most effective player on the court when driving to the basket. You will learn how to score a "three-pointer" the old-fashioned way; draw a foul, count the basket and make the free throw! Power Moves is for centers, guards and forwards. This activity may not be registered for individually because it is part of a package.Kids who participate in either Ice Hockey or other Specialty FigureSkating Camps at Wheaton Ice in the morning may register and join the fun at Week in the Park in the afternoon! This camp features an indoor tennis lesson, time to practice skating skills at the rink each day, nature walks, and more. We do a lot of walking and running around, so wear comfortable walking shoes!
