Does your student need help with English Language Arts or Social Studies or Math? Does your student need a quiet place to work on homework with a teacher after school? If so, the MPA Homework Lab is the place for them! The MPA Homework Lab will take place Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:10pm to 4:30pm in Barker 13. The Lab will offer a quiet place where students can complete homework, ask questions, work on projects, or just study for quizzes and tests. Students will be able to get help with problems, clarification for assignments, or even simple encouragement or supervision while working. 773-881-6700

Chicago Youth Centers’ Camp Rosenthal is excited to announce its first annual Women's Wellness Retreat April 29th - May 1st 2016. As 21st century women we are constantly juggling the responsibilities of family, work and school. We all deserve some time out for ourselves. Why not take some time to re-connect with yourself and enjoy the fellowship of womanhood at our beautiful camp in Southwestern Michigan. Our women’s only weekend retreat will give you an opportunity to relax in a beautiful and inviting environment, reconnect with your inner self through art, meditation and reflection and allow plenty of time to appreciate sisterhood and enjoy pampering yourself. The weekend package includes lodging, meals and a full program of women centered activities for an all-inclusive fee of $125 per person. Bring a friend and get $5 off the cost of the weekend. Sign up for 1 week or all 4 WHAT IS Amplify Sleep Away Rock Camp? Amplify Sleep Away Rock Camp is an intensive one-week overnight program offered to girls ages 11-17 years old and is held at Ojai Valley Boarding School in Ojai, CA. Here girls of all skill levels have the opportunity to learn guitar, bass, drums, vocals, keys or other instruments. Girls will also form a band, write an original song, and perform at the Final Showcase for friends, families, and fans! In addition to all this, girls will have the opportunity to meet other girls and female musicians and mentors, as well as participate in enrichment activities such as workshops on media literacy or screen-printing, high ropes course, Dj-skills, Zine making and more. GRSB! welcomes campers that identify as female, trans, and gender-nonconforming. LESSONS Participants choose one instrument to focus on for the week–drums, bass, guitar, vocals, keyboards, or DJ.
