Grades 3-8 A week of advanced training for more experienced players, this camp will improve agility, balance and coordination through a series of individual ball mastery exercises. Highly-qualified British coaches will emphasize skill development and mastery of core techniques through individual and small-group practice and games. Players will learn and practice ways to turn, fake and beat opponents as well as master lifts and balances to improve their touch, control and confidence with the ball. Algebra II - For-Credit Optional - Head-Royce School
This course is taught by veteran Head-Royce Math Teacher Chris Davies A U.C. Certified equivalent of academic year Algebra II taught in an intensive six-week format. Top-performing Head-Royce students may use the course to accelerate into Pre-calculus pending departmental approval. Other purposes for taking this course include reviewing and previewing Algebra II as needed. (As with all summer for-credit courses, students may choose to audit this course or proceed on a for-credit basis.) Textbooks will be loaned to the students, but students must provide their own graphing calculator (Head-Royce uses the TI84 or TI83). Prerequisite: Algebra 1 and Geometry, minimum C grade.
