6:00pm Dropoff 9:30pm pickup Parents night out/kids night in: Friday dinner and a movie at our new, beautiful, kid friendly, home office. We focus on families whose children are currently on treatment; parents who need a night out, with safe, reliable, free babysitting! BASE Camp Kids ages 5-15; patients, and their siblings are included, and welcome to attend! From 6-9:30 we offer up crafts, games, dress-up, snacks, dinner & movies for the children who are dropped off so their parents can have a date night! The BASE CAMP KIDS are entertained by volunteers who bring kid friendly food, popcorn & movie candy BASE CAMP has a digital library of movies; G, PG, PG 13… depending on the age group of the children we will watch movies on our 70 inch big screen TV in our Hudson's Furniture/Ikea-Orlando family room! Our volunteer teams also bring "Lots of energy", games, crafts, and a respite for parents who just need a little time away from their children! At 9:30 PM the party is over… Parents must retrieve their children, volunteers clean up the office and leave with a filled heart knowing that they made a difference in some special children's and families lives on their journey! Horse Camp - Week 7 - The Greenwell Foundation
Horse Camp is for children ages 7 – 14 (by first day of camp session). This camp is the ideal setting to learn and discover all things horses! After discovering which horse they will be partnered with, campers are assigned to a lesson group based on their incoming skill set. Horsemanship is emphasized by allowing campers to saddle their own horse, help care for their horse and learn all about horse health. Riders will be taught safety, comfort in the saddle and control of the horse. More experienced riders will be challenged through the week with pre-jumping skills, some gymnastic exercises and leg yielding. Each day, each group will have the opportunity to ride in the morning for approximately 30-45 minutes after spending time grooming and tacking up horses. When not participating in a riding lesson, they will learn about barn management and all things horse! In addition to riding and working with the horses, campers will have the opportunity to do archery, kayaking, hiking, field games, crafts and get wet with water games. Each afternoon, campers are provided an afternoon snack and each week a chance to make Smores. The week ends with Tye-Dye Friday for a take-home memory... 301-373-9775

Red, White, and Blue American Girl: This engaging and fun dance camp will include ballet, tap, and jazz choreography with American themes and patriotic music. You can even bring an American Girl Doll to join you! Children will have dance lessons, play games, make props, bake and more, all in preparation for a short performance at end of the week on July 14. Your childs week will be split between nature activities like wilderness survival classes, orienteering, GPS skills, and other nature lessons AND outdoor recreation like hiking, caving, water sports (canoeing, kayaking and stand up paddleboarding) and indoor rock climbing.
