Grand Camp for Kids
My kids enjoyed this camp so much! It was fabulous and the staff was amazing. They were able to do the normal camp activities, but they were also able to do archery, paintball, mountaineering, hiking, campfire programs and they even took a 4 day trek into the Grand Canyon. Our Children's Trust, Rogue Climate, the Geos Institute, and Trail Treckers are coming together to host a one day training for youth and their parents on how to become effective advocates for a stable climate. Elementary through high school students from around the Rogue Valley are welcome! Suggested ages are 9-18. Bring a sack lunch, and we will provide snacks! Learn to Ride a Bike - Bear Creek Park
This is one of the most exciting camps because kids experience the joy of pedaling independently for the first time! This half day camp is perfect for the younger child who is still on training wheels or going from push bike to pedal bike. Our goal is to get them riding their own bike on two wheels by the end of the week using specific techniques, patience, and fun. You can come with training wheels on their bike if that is what they are used to riding. Or, if they are going from a push bike to a pedal bike, just make sure they have a bike that fits - no training wheels need to be added. We will work toward removing all training wheels as the week progresses. Please bring a helmet, 2 snacks, a water bottle, rain gear and closed toe shoes. You are welcome to bring a sack or picnic lunch and stay at the park after camp has ended. Parents need not be present during camp (and sometimes it is better if you are not there!) 7193553573.0

This camp will prepare teenage girls for middle and high school level volleyball. The camp will feature age- appropriate conditioning and training to prepare individuals both physically and mentally, for the next level of athletic competition. In addition to practice on the court, the camp will also utilize water aerobics training along with weight room sessions. A tournament will wrap up the weeklong camp. 9194244028.0

This unique camp provides a wonderful introduction to theatre for young children through the use of creative drama, movement and games by focusing on their natural sense of play. The aim of the camp is to encourage inventiveness and originality. In each session children are introduced to different creative dramatic building blocks so the class may be repeated. Children should bring a snack to each class.
