Owner of Flower City Yoga and Art Therapist, Nora Doebrich will be hosting 3 very special Yoga Camps, this Summer. Activities will include; fun movment/yoga games, arts and crafts intended to calm the mind, anatomy education to build body awareness, yoga poses to promote self-esteem, group directives to create a sense of community and excerises to increase relaxation. We also have Mary Stachowski of Food, Fun and Friends who will be joining us for the Thursday of each week. Jurassic - Fishers of Men Lutheran Church
Dinosaurs may be extinct, but they are very much alive in Camp Jurassic. Campers learn about a variety of dinosaurs and their habitats. Rocks, minerals and fossils are studied along with a variety of related projects. 713-589-8958

03rd 2016 Camp, Buckaroo DAY Camp - Blue Point Stables
This Camp is a 5 (Five) Day Buckaroo Day Camp. Camp begins each day at 9:00 EST and ends at 4:00 pm in the afternoon. The Wednesday Night Overnight stay is offered only as an option, and has an additional charge. Campers are not required to select this option. Campers will be assigned a horse to ride and care for. In the larger enrollment classes, campers share assigned horses. Activities that the campers will be involved with are... Riding Lessons (generally twice a day, weather permitting) Grooming, Stall Care & Management, Equine Characteristics, Arts and Crafts, Horse Health and Welfare and Swimming Pool fun at the end of each day. Plus, making friends or renewing previous relationships with new and returning campers alike. Campers have the option to purchase and challenge the test for a CHA riding level. Campers receive the appropriate CHA Riding Level Book. Successful campers are awarded the appropriate Certificate, Patch and Pin. Campers falling below the testing standards are allowed to retest. Day campers will need to bring appropriate clothing for each day, to include layered warm clothing on cooler days and rain gear when needed, as well as, their lunches, snacks and drinks for each... 865-376-9312

Soccer Camp - Skills N Thrills - Jack Jackter Intermediate School
Soccer stars learn to enhance technical skills, build new skills, and learn basic tactics including attacking and defending. Over the week, players will be self assessed using standardized National Soccer Tests focusing on the technical aspects of the game, along with the UK Quiz, and World Cup Competition. Each child receives a t-shirt and certificate at the end of the week! Instructed by UK Socca -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- JJIS Soccer Field. Please bring adequate water for each participant, apply sunscreen/sunblock daily. Please wear appropriate clothing. Tennis Camp - The Derryfield School
A week of tennis instruction, practice, games, and activities for intermediate to advanced tennis players. Players will receive individual instruction which will be reinforced by match play later in the morning. We will focus on stroke mechanics, playing strategies, and conditioning. Makers Workshop - CuriOdyssey
Recommended for children ages 8-12 years old. The Maker movement emphasizes learning by doing and encourages creativity, invention, and modeling. As the annual Maker Faire Bay Area occurs this month, we wanted to provide a workshop that captures the spirit of Making. Participants will be inspired as they work on a do it yourself (DIY) project supported by CuriOdyssey education staff.
