Winter in the Wild: Furs & Feathers (Youth Groups Only) - Hull, IL
Exclusive for Non-Profit Youth Groups! Registration limited to first 30 youth Become a GC wildlife detective while on school vacation! Come to Gardner Camp for hands-on learning about wildlife and animals of all kinds. Nationally renowned World Bird Sanctuary will be at GC to present a live animal program where you will experience an up-close view of animals from all kingdoms. After learning about the different types of animals and the signs that animals leave behind, participants will test their investigation skills solving a mystery and go on a tracking adventure, weather permitting. Participants will also walk away with their very own handmade wildlife tracks t-shirt. Within this program, there is also a giveback opportunity to help World Bird Sanctuary. Kaleidoscope Week 4 (9-3) - SCDS
Kaleidoscope Each week is designed around a fun theme to meet the developmental needs of children. Rising PK2nd grade children work in small groups directed by early childhood specialists. Activities include: art, creative snacks, music and movement, games, Spanish, science, and sports. Do it all at Kaleidoscope. Themes: A Bugs Life, Around the World, Storyland, and Odyssey Under the Sea.. Each theme is presented in music/drama and art. Wear comfortable camp clothes and tennis shoes. Nurture your childs fascination with the earths creatures. Summer Sprouts will spend the week discovering and learning about the animals that hop, swim, fl y, and crawl through the fields and forests of Rockwood Park. K-5th Grade Music Theater with Lachey Arts at Terrace Park Elementary - Terrace Park Elementary
Lachey Arts is proud to work in conjunction with Mariemont Schools to bring music theater to our elementary students. During the 10 week class, students will work on singing, dancing and acting skills. Parents will be invited to the final class to watch the performance. This class is open to students in kindergarten-3rd grade at Terrace Park Elementary.
