Affordable pitching camps which provide young players with specialized training can be difficult to find. The Big Train pitching camp provides highly specialized skill development at a very affordable price, just $165 per week. During the camp, 25 players will have the opportunity to receive one-on-one training and participate in pitching drills with Big Train college pitchers. Campers will work for two hours each afternoon in the Povich Field outfield and Povich Field bullpens, building the pitching skills to get them to that next level. Note: Pitching Camp will not meet on Wednesdays to prevent the risk of campers straining their arms. 301-365-1076

Both of my daughters attended this camp two years in a row; then my oldest daughter went on to be a camp counselor for a summer before she went on to basic training. They are now 28 and 30 years old and they STILL talk about their camp experience!!

ET-FP-U13-U18 Boys and Girls - Meredith College Turf Field
Player Evaluation Events are held to determine readiness/acceptance into the Elite Technique program. Elite Technique is a 40-week training program divided into four, 10-week Cycles (two, 10-week Fall programs and two, 10-week Spring programs). Fall sessions run from early August through mid-December; Spring sessions run from early January through mid-June. One training session per week for 1¼ hours per session. Cost = $185 for each 10-week Cycle (paid before the start of each 10-week cycle); players will also be required to purchase one Elite Technique training jersey for the program (~$25). You must register for the entire 40-week series – registration for individual Cycles is not an option. Players may withdraw from the program at the end of a Cycle and future Cycles will not be charged. Two levels of the RailHawks Elite Technique field-player program: Elite Technique PLATINUM: Comprised of high-level Classic players. New players must register/attend a Player Evaluation Event to determine readiness/acceptance into the ET-Platinum or ET-Gold program. Elite Technique GOLD: Elite-level supplemental training for committed players of all skill levels. This is a recreational level camp open to boys and girls 4-14 years old. Players will improve their technical abilities with the soccer ball through practicing proper mechanics of dribbling, passing and receiving. Dribbling & passing reside at the core of technical progression in order to become a skilled and intelligent player. After completion of the Dribbling & Passing camp, we recommend progressing to the Attacking & Defending camp. The best amongst you is the one who learns Quran and teaches it. Prophet Mohammad, peace be upon him. MYGB will continue to offer its Quran program with the hope that this program will help our youth bond with the Quran through this experience Inshallah. By the end of each session of MYGB Quran program participants will have developed: *- greater appreciation of the words of Allah; *- better ability to read and recite the Quran; *- better understanding of some of the basic concepts addressed by the verses repeated in the short chapters. The program will also have a memorization component based on the youths abilities and readiness for memorization. All teachers and volunteers have tremendous experience working with youth in this particular field. Groups will be divided by age and then by competency level. Competency level will be determined by a competency test that participants will have to go through on the first day of the program. 586.610.1659
