Yes, boys will boys and that's why this camp experience was tailor made for our two pre-teens. It seems like they never run out of energy and this was the perfect environment to keep them busy. I also very much liked the ability to check in and see how they were progressing. Junior Day Camp - Camp Waubanong
Our Junior Camp program is for children ages 7-11 who wish to attend camp, but are not sure whether or not they feel ready to stay overnight. Junior Campers will arrive with day campers on the first Monday morning of the session, and should bring supplies to set up their own bunk (sleeping bag, toothbrush, a few changes of clothes, swim gear, towels), whether or not they will stay the night. Junior Campers will follow the same daily schedule as the Traditional Overnight Camp, with the exception that they will have a block of time following afternoon snack to decide whether or not they would like to stay the night, and time to communicate with their families or guardians about their decision. Families are charged on a per-night basis, so campers are welcome to stay as many or as few nights as they would like. These campers will have a bunk set up in a regular cabin group, so that the transition is seamless for them, should they decide to stay over. We ask that campers reach a final decision for that day by 3:30pm, so that we can plan for evening activities and breakfast, and families are clear about... (802) 490-5550
