Denim and buttons and t-shirts, oh my! In this class campers will make all kinds of upcycled creations using discarded fabrics and sewing notions. Whether theyre an experienced sewer or crafter and enjoy working alongside others OR are interested in learning how to do any/all of these things, this is the class for them. Great Family Camp
My girls love Camp Wayfarer and we go every year. It is an action packed camp for both girls and boys. They really cater to families, too. My girls really love the dance activities, but they also learned a lot in the environmental and marine biology portions. They rode horses, learned a lot about the performing arts, they learned tennis this year and next year they want to get more into golf. Drop your little ones off for a fun filled Thanksgiving themed 5 hour Yoga Day Camp held at Colonial Oaks Park, Wednesday, November 23rd from 9am-2pm While learning yoga postures, deep breathing & relaxation techniques, together we'll develop coordination, flexibility, strength & balance, while cultivating cooperation, kindness, gratitude, clear minds & joyful hearts. Sheila and Jaime are both certified through Kidding Around Yoga and are offering a full day of interactive yoga for kids which includes kid-friendly poses, songs, games, crafts, activities, freeplay, yoga story time and meditation. Cost is $65 per child with a 50% discount for additional siblings. Open to ages 4 and up. Parents gear up for an AMAZINGLY fun Spring Break. JAM Inc presents "jammin kids" Cheer, Dance, and Acting Camp, April 4th-8th. Camp will take place from 9am-4pm with the option of early drop off and late pick up. Your child will either learn a cheerleading or dance routine, a skit, or a combination of the three amongst other cool activities. Registration is $20 and tuition is $80 for the week. Camp fees include uniformed class attire, snacks, and a special gift to take home at the close of camp. This class is for 4th-8th grade students. Through the Vocal Performance Workshop, students will: learn foundational vocal technique, as well as techniques used in different musical styles; shape and strengthen their vocal instrument with breathing and singing exercises; explore performance practices of interpretation, connection with the audience, stage movement, and microphone use; understand how to care and use their voice in healthy ways. The participants will sing in the Conservatory Recital on Saturday, May 14th (time TBA). 901-435-5843

You asked and we responded! Our newest addition… Future Physician II brings more great projects, as young campers delve further into their amazing body systems. Theyll peel back the layers and discover how their complex organs work: learn about disease, how our body fights back, the role of mucus; and digestion, from spit to….. well, you get the idea. Theyll uncover how the brain works through their own personal webcam, investigate the impact of food, exercise and sleep; and discover how bones and muscles are like cookies and pancakes. Campers will perform hands-on experiments as they learn about body temperature and fevers, take blood pressures, bandage wounds, and create herbal medicines. They will use a microscope, test for germs, map their organs, build a set of teeth, brain and virus models, AND take home their own MD kit. Certificate of Mini-MD given at end of camp! 7047743016.0
