Hey Friends all work and these Adult camps posts has me wanting to go to camp. PROBLEM: No adult camp in SF area (aside from a digital detox hippy thing) SOLUTION: Organize One. If we get enough interest will make it happen, will decide in 1 week. Need like 200+ Yes's and I will get the wheels in motion. CONCEPT: Adult Summer Camp All the fun + the booze Think meeting new people, activities like swimming,canoeing, rock wall, sports, slip n slide flip cup, arts crafts, cooking class, and etc. Broken into teams, olympics style, dancing under stars all night, talent show, etc. Was inspired by Camp No Counselors check it out to get an idea - https://vimeo.com/99644036 It'd be $299 - 349 estimated PP for transport, accommodation, catered food, activities + TShirt ;) + OPEN BAR all 3 Days. History Comes Alive with Classical Theater - Wizard of Oz - Location: Center for The Creative Arts
This is a truly unique course especially designed for the home-schooled that incorporates history, literature, and performance. This classic novel/play will be interpreted and performed as students discuss the playwright and the time in which the author lived. History comes alive as students also create living portraits of imaginary and real characters during that period of history. The Wizard of Oz is a beloved classic. A cyclone carries Dorothy and her dog, Toto, to the magical land of Oz, where they encounter all the famous characters from the pen of L. Frank Baum... Dorothy, the Cowardly Lion, the Tin Woodsman, the rubber-legged Scarecrow, Glinda the Good Witch, Oz, Munchkins, Winged Monkeys, The Witch of the North, and the evil Witch of the West, who is determined to destroy Dorothy and steal the secret of her magical slippers. Due to NCAA Regulations, we are prohibited from advertising current players that will be working at the camp. The Elite Lax Camp features the TOP athletes at each position and ensure a player to coach ratio of 14 to 1 to maximize instruction. Learn from current collegiate players at the TOP of their game!!
