We introduce subjects that school may not offer, while encouraging students to experiment with classes as they begin to consider their college major. Where: William Kozyra Alumni Field About: Players attending NDP soccer camp will be challenged to take their game to a higher level. Players can expect competitive mind-body workouts that will help them enhance technical skills, learn new strategies, problem-solve within the flow of play, and improve conditioning. What to wear/bring: Athletic attire, soccer shoes, soccer socks, shin guards, any other necessary soccer equipment, towel and water bottle. Please note our new cancellation policy. Our Forest Kindergarten program is modeled around German Waldkindergartens, in which all of our class time is spent entirely outside! Rolling enrollment continues based on availability Outdoor classrooms naturally create endless learning opportunities for our children to nurture their own curiosity, perhaps by following animal tracks and sign, making wild crafts with leaves and treasures found on the forest floor, or using fallen logs as balance beams. Adult mentors assist in the learning, rather than lead the teachings. This is different from a "nature preschool," which infuses lessons with nature-inspired themes and balances indoor time with outdoor time, as we will be outside the ENTIRE time in all but extreme weather conditions. Explore the world of forest management through the eyes of a miner on a mine tour and as an FDRD volunteer. So, make like a tree and leaf on this exciting celebration.
