Youth Softball & Baseball Fundamentals Camp by Josh Newman - South Web
Instructor : Josh Newman currently the Assistant Baseball Coach for Marshall University and formerly with the Colorado Rockies and the KC Royals. This camp is open to all boys and girls, ages 7-12 in all school districts. Josh will be covering the fundamentals of the game for softball and baseball. Advance Registration and payment must be received no later than June 6th to guarantee a spot at camp and a tshirt. *Early Registration is $35 per athlete and must be received by June 1st and includes lunch and a tshirt. *after June 1st Group registration of 10 or more players for $45 per player and $40 for siblings. Each group of 10 will receive the 11th player free. We request that your 11th player be need based. Individual Registration fees are $50 for the first child and $40 for each additional child in the same family. Please make checks payable to South Webster Little League. We begin with a guided walk through campus, introducing the music, art, dance, theater, writing, chess, nature and recreation departments. Our administrative leadership will share a few ideas about what shapes the Usdan program, from where we draw our inspiration, and what makes a summer at Usdan unlike any other. We will explain the enrollment process, and you will be given a chance to talk in small groups, or individually, with our knowledgeable team of arts faculty and staff members. We end the visit with a self-guided walk and exploration of the grounds. AKA presents Football and Basketball for Week 9 of the AKA All Sports Camp at the Coon Rapids Ice Center. With the NFL, college, and high school mini-camps getting started all around the country, we wanted to the North Metro a youth football camp. Boys and girls are welcomed and encouraged to partake in the football events. Events include drills, obstacle courses, offensive and defensive techniques and plenty of flag football games for everyone. Kids will also get a Basketball Camp, complete with skills, games and competitions. Featured Field Trip : Valley Fair Amusement and Water Park, August 6. FYI - The actual day camp runs from 9am-4pm though kids are welcome to get dropped off as early as 7am and picked up as late as 6pm. There is so much activity between these hours!
