Power Puzzle Students create an autonomous robot and program using LEGO EV3 platform. The emphasis is on building design and strategic problem solving. Through the Power Puzzle Challenge students explore understanding the elements of energy use in a world that uses more and more energy every day. As our world grows and changes, so do our energy needs. Solve missions and score points by programming an EV3 to run autonomous robots. Week 6: Northwoods Adventure - Camp Tanadoona
An adventure trip of a lifetime. Our Northwoods Adventure Camp at Camp Bluewater is the ultimate outdoor camping experience. Campers will find the each bend of Bluewater Lake beautiful and inviting as they canoe and portage a chain of lakes within the Chippewa National Forest. Campers will gain confidence in their Outdoor Living Skills and deepen their relationship with nature. Friendships made on this trip are forever, and the memories youll make are to be treasured. Start the week at Tanadoona! Together campers will prepare meals and map out their journey with two certified Northwoods Specialists. Next, well hit the road and journey to Camp Bluewater just past Grand Rapids, MN. Adventurers spend the night at Camp Bluewaters lodge then embark in the morning on a 4-day canoe and camping trip through a chain of lakes. 612-235-7284

Programmable Speed Bots - Wow Science - Voorhees
Using iOS and Android devices, campers will program a robot to do many tricks, including pulling off ollies--a trick where a skateboarder or snowboarder can jump into the air without ramping off something else. This robot can pull off ollies, do a quick spin in place, speed boost while driving (called grabs), jump around like a hot potato, pull off wheelies, or rocket across the room and turn on a dime before zipping off in a new direction. All this as campers have fun mastering basic concepts of programming. Bring your cell phone if you have one. NOTE: THIS PROGRAM RUNS MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY FOR A HALF DAY.
