SUMMER CAMP Our Summer Camp Program has one primary goal: getting kids active, outdoors! The Summer Camp program is a LICENSED DAY CAMP through the State of Wisconsin. You can be sure that the camp counselors are dedicated to meeting the needs of the campers. All of our camp counselors are at least 18 years of age, undergo a criminal background check, are certified in First Aid and CPR and receive extensive pre-camp training. Your 6 to 12 year old can comfortably spend the whole day away from home. Your child should enjoy being around many other children in an outdoor environment. I sent my 15 year old daughter to the 3 week session and she LOVED it. Which is amazing because my daughter is like many teenagers and is too cool for everything. Ski Trip Male Participants 2016 - Camp Paivika
Adult campers between the ages of 18 and 99 with physical and/or developmental disabilities. 2 nights. Personal Care: Participants must be independent with their personal care needs. Individuals who require more than minor assistance with bathing, dressing, feeding and other personal care will not be accepted. Individuals requiring medical care other than the administration of medications will not be accepted. There will not be a nurse in attendance- medications will be managed by trained camp staff. Behavioral Challenges: Individuals with severe behavioral issues including acting out, inability to remain with the group, self-injurious/assaultive behaviors or aggressive tendencies will not be accepted. Campers will be assisted in ski activities and/or camping activities but must be interested and willing to participate in order to attend either of these programs. Staffing Ratios: Participants must be able to function safely in a group environment. Staff to camper ratios will be 1 to 5 during most times of the day. [] Grades 7 - 13 Full Day Combo (Ages 7-13) Children must bring morning and afternoon snack, lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, swimsuit, towel, goggles and wear tennis shoes. Campers bring snacks, lunch and beverage. Lunchtime supervision provided. Director: Kerry Winkelseth, UM School of Kinesiology. Full Day, Monday-Friday. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Curbside Pick-up and Drop-off. Staff will pick up campers from your car at 8:00 AM and deliver back to your car at 4:00 PM. KidSport offers children the opportunity to learn and refine non-competitive sport-specific, team building and social skills. The activities are age appropriate and developed by experts in childrens physical education. KidSport is staffed by certified teachers as well as physical education and education majors focused on providing a first-rate experience for your kids! Chamber Music Camp July 18-22, 9am-4pm Grades 9-12 Come make music amongst friends! Trios, quartets, quintets are forming with strings, piano, woodwinds and brass. Groups will have the opportunity to be coached by our outstanding faculty, participate in masterclasses, learn rehearsal techniques while building skills and friendships for a lifetime. Students will also participate in a variety of elective courses. The camp will culminate in a final performance on Friday afternoon. This camp requires the student to have basic note reading skills.
