This camp will ask our campers to dream big as we spend the week drawing up our creations for another FSMH Summer Camp Worlds Fair! At the weeks end, campers will get some more hands on creative experience with a trip to Wheaton Arts. While morning activities are geared toward the weeks theme, all weekly FSMH camps include a trip to the pool Monday-Thursday for a swim lesson and play time. Defensive & Offensive Concepts Camp The Defensive segment will cover defensive tactics, coverages, checking, body play, gap control, positioning, defensive theory, transitions, jumping into the play, and defending odd-man rushes. The Offensive segment will focus on offensive theory, face-offs, sustaining an attack, cycling, attacking with speed, odd-man rushes for, offense at the puck, offense away from the puck, and support. ATTENTION GOALTENDERS - Every RMHS camp will offer professional goaltending instruction from one of our professional goaltending coaches. Be introduced to two incredible sports that will keep you fit, focused and balanced! Give your body the boost of energy it needs by refreshing your senses and having fun on the ocean. Explore Stonington Harbor on stand up paddle boards, while stretching, relaxing and testing your core balance. Ride the crystal clear waves of Rhode Island during surf class. No previous experience is needed, but an interest in the ocean and being active is a must. This class is perfect for new or returning students.
