Spring Into Summer Fit Camp - Antioch, TN
This will be a 4 week event. Workouts will last for 1 hour and they will be full body workouts. Everyone will need their own yoga mat, jump rope, 2 3-8 lbs weights, water, and towel. All fitness levels are welcome you will never be judged only motivated to push yourself. Bring a positive attitude and a smile. Invite your friends and let's make this a amazing event plus we all know if you bring someone with you then you are 90% more than likely to complete the fitness camp. Get ready to have a great workout. !!

Kid's Cooking Camp - Lake Charles, LA
We are so exited to announce our kids cooking camp! This is a three day camp to be held inside the beautiful Majestic Hall at Walnut Grove. The Camp will include: Day 1 Homemade muffins, strawberry, blueberry, bananas, or chocolate chip Making Pizza from scratch Day 2 Southwest Egg Rolls Quesadillas Day 3 Spring Rolls Stir Fried Noodles with Veggies Each Day will include - snack preparation 10-11 - snack time 11-11:30 - actvity break 11:30 - 12:30 - entree preparation 12:30 - 1:30 - eating time 1:30 - 2:00 Camp fee is $225 per child ages 6-12 We are concerned with the safety of the children atteneding our camp. With this in mind we will not be using knives, all cuttting preparation will be done ahead of time. We will have an adult leader to help oversee each of our cooking stations and we are maxing attendance at 10 children to enusre their safety. We specialize in cattering to those with food allergies. Arbys No Kid Hungry Campaign - Hope Mills, NC
Arby's is doing it again for the third year but at Arby's location. This year we will be holding different event at the Hope Mills Location to raise money for the No Kid Go Hungry Campaign from August 18 -September 28, 2015. Since 2011, the Arby's Foundation has been a national charity partner of Share Our Strength*s No Kid Hungry* campaign (NKH). As NKH's largest quick service restaurant partner, the Arby's Foundation has raised over $5 million in the past two years to support NKH and other hunger-fighting organizations in the communities that Arby's serves. Activities are plan as follows. Daily Business Spotlight From August 18 -September 28, 2015 Vendors will check in with the manger of the store and set up in designated area Arby's will have a business spotlight section where the vendors can set up there displays. Students will learn sequencing, estimation, and how to problem solve when they learn how to program Bee-Bot Robots! They will work in groups to design and build their own mazes and obstacle courses, and use collaboration skills to get out of their maze, avoid obstacles, count, and learn the alphabet. Kelvins Kitchen - Discovery Montessori School
Everyone has to eat, and engineers are involved in all the steps of getting food from a farm to your table. Engineers help figure out how to make food, package it, and how to deliver it to your table. During this camp, students will learn the engineering behind the fishing industry and how to protect other animals and the coral reef in the process, how designing the perfect environment for plants to grow can help increase food production, and learn how chemical and industrial engineers concoct different tasty recipes and manufacture them quickly using assembly lines to produce tasty treats in the quickest way possible. *This is not a cooking camp* (904) 707-2121

Summit Afternoon Academy Summit Band Spring 2016 3rd, 4th and 5th Graders, 3:00-4:00PM, $360 Fees include snack Band meets in the Lower School Music Room in the Arts & Technology Building Clarinets- Wednesdays (Trumpet players from Fall Band may join this class if unable to meet on Tuesdays) January 6, 13, 20, February 3, 10, 17, 24, March 2, 9, 16, 23, April 6, 13, 20, 27, May 4 February 10, 8:15-9:15 All Band Practice March 9, 8:15-9:15 All Band Practice April 27, 8:15-9:15 All Band Practice Band instruction includes note spelling, rhythm training, instrumental skills, harmonizing, and aural development. Musical selections will be taken from the Essential Elements Book and sheet music. There will be a daily home practice requirement of approximately 15-25 minutes depending on age. This daily practice allows for optimal learning and progress. Boys Basketball - Sanford Day Camp
Stan Waterman will be the head coach for our Basketball program. Stan is the head basketball coach at Sanford since 1991. Under Stans direction, Sanford won multiple State Championships. Stan played point guard at the University of Delaware and is the Dean of Students at Sanford. He is considered to be an outstanding teacher of youth. Stan utilizes both courts of the Sports Center to set up stations for dribbling, passing, jump shooting and foul shooting. The afternoons are used for small team play. 1 on 1, 2 on 2, 3 on 3, etc. By the end of the week, all players are participating in full team scrimmages. Players can expect a good workout every day. -------------- LOCATION: Sanford School. Please drop your child off at the Sports Center at 8:45 a.m. Pick up will be in the same location at 3:15. --------------- WHAT TO BRING: Light-weight, loose fitting shirts, shorts, socks and sneakers. Water Bottle Bathing suit and towel for free swim in the afternoon. Lunch, unless purchasing from Camp. ($35.00/per week) A drink will be provided for all by the Camp.
