Cedar Run also provides a weekly drop-in day camp for the commitment-challenged campers. This classic day camp is chock full of camp activities including nature education, animal encounters, art, games and enjoying the outdoors. This camp is available on Wednesdays from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM to children ages 6-10. If your child (or you) are hesitant about the idea of summer camp or just have one day to spend with us this summer, this is a perfect way to get a taste! Pricing is $50/per child, per day. This is a TENTATIVE event page to see who would be interested in heading to Goddard Youth Camp for a weekend in June 2016. Please invite everyone that you know who has attended "Camp Goddard" through South MacArthur Church of Christ to like this event and the Facebook page. This Reunion will be open to all ages and families are encouraged to come together! There is enough cabin space for 210 people. Cabin spaces will be available in groups of 10 on a first come, first served basis. Restrictions: Older couples or those with major medical issues will be given cabin preference if they would prefer not to sleep in tents/RV's. Camping with tents/RV's will be a slightly cheaper option than cabins because we may be expecting more than 210 people. Harvesters are our oldest camper group of 9 and 10 year olds. They participate in all camp activities in the garden, tending the animals, crafting, and cooking. Inventive minds will be able to build Odometers (to measure the distance a robot has traveled), Lifting Jacks (to hold & raise heavy loads), and not to mention the inspiration for the HELICOPTER. Join with us as we aspire to relive the excitement of Leonardo Da Vinci. Note: Even though between some weekly sessions there might appear the same program names, in our actual education program, we will have different depth of technology and engineering principles to be applied by our children under our inspirational guidance... Well be based in the White Salmon River Valley in Trout Lake, Washington. Students should expect to make new friends, learn new ways of traveling in the outdoors, and come home excited about exploring the Columbia River Gorge and the Cascade Mountains.
