Imagine a camp where youth can learn swimming techniques, enjoy free swim with friends, and then spend the rest of the day playing awesome high activity games and crafts. Now imagine that this dream actually exists. We bring your H2O Adventures. Along with traditional outdoor camp activities and games, each participant will receive 30 minutes of swim instruction (provided by aquatic staff) followed by 15 minutes of free swim each morning, except on field trip days. Participants should arrive wearing a bathing suit with a towel and pre-applied sunscreen (Mon-Thur) with active running clothes and shoes in a bag. Every Friday, we?ll be going on an exciting field trip. One t-shirt will be provided to each participant for the summer session. Depending on the week, breakfast and lunch may or may not be provided. When the sun is at its peak, it?s the shade we shall seek. We?ll be playing fun water games and activities all week long, because we know summer gets HOT. PM Animation Film & Motion Graphics for Teens 7/5 (ages 13+) - Ah Haa School for the Arts
Students will learn the art of putting imagery in motion as they explore a variety of techniques, including traditional stop-animation, claymation, hand-drawn animation, digital film and computer graphics like titling and film effects. Our distribution point will be digital with an emphasis on showing completed stories to a collected audience of family and friends. Students are encouraged to explore creativity in storytelling with a variety of media, such as clay, photos, natural materials and groups of actors. Summer Camp @ Victory Park Group C (9-10) - City of Pasadena
Join one of Pasadenas most popular summer camps! Victory Parks Camp has earned its longstanding reputation as a high-quality, fun, affordable, enriching program. Each day begins with a morning pep rally that sets the stage for an action-packed day. Activities include outdoor play, dance, arts and crafts, including painting, sculpting, lanyard making and chalk drawings, fitness activities and enrichment. Enrichment classes include health, hygiene and first aid instruction, cooking classes, computer and robotics play and specialized sports instruction in tennis and golf. Campers spend at least two hours daily doing physical fitness in the form of choreographed dance, group games, fitness competitions, team sports and supervised free play. Campers are escorted across the park to Pasadena High School?s swimming pool for recreational swim two times per week. Camp counselors go into the water with the campers and well-trained, certified lifeguards are always present. Before entering the pool, campers receive a water safety lesson. Optional swimming lessons available for an additional $20/week. Most field trip fees are included in the weekly fee. Fun field trips are often the highlight of the week. Field trip fees are included in camps costs, but campers may need spending money for some trips....
