Free Teen Class at Nyack Boot Camp - Nyack, NY
Get your teenager off the Xbox and and into our gym for a free workout! It is a great chance to check us out with this free workout. Our workouts are never boring, always changing and challenging and most of all fun. This full-body, full range of motion training is perfect for teens who want to get fit. It is also for teen athletes who want to up their game in their favorite sport. Our workouts will create a balanced all over strength and functional fitness. Great for both boys and girls. Youth Fun-Damental Basketball Camp - Roscommon, MI
This exciting camp opportunity is for boys and girls entering the 3rd through 8th grade. With four days of fun and learning, using a variety of drills, skills, contests, and games, your athlete will have a chance to be active and leave with the necessary tools to develop their game for their future. Postive social interaction with others their age and with their basket coach will help them in more ways than just basketball skills. Camp is Monday - Thursday, August 22-25, from 10am-3pm and cost is $50. Early drop off and pick up is available for an additional $2 per hour. Maximum registration of $100 per family. If youve ever wanted to design a play jungle for hamsters, a four-story luxury dog house, or the coolest cat castle the world has ever seen, this class is for you! In this workshop, well use Design Thinking to research, invent, and prototype new solutions for happier pets. Come prepared to create, think about animals, and build a pet utopia! Instructor Bio: Rei Jackler is an Oakland arts educator, design teacher, writer, and maker nerd. She holds a Masters in Teaching from Stanford University, where she also trained in Design Thinking at the D.School. In Oakland, she is currently Makerspace Manager for the La Escuelita Elementary School Makerspace, and has also taught design with Chapter 510. Rei loves making of all kinds: knitting multi-colored scarves, writing fantastical short stories, and baking with a lot of chocolate. Montessori Atrium Parent Toddler Group 18-36 Months The parent-toddler group meets once a week in the All Saints Montessori Toddler Atrium environment. Children accepted into the program are ages 18-36 months and must be accompanied by parent. Children need not be potty trained to be accepted into our program. Children explore activities of Practical Life, Sensorial and Language materials along with seasonal presentations of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd with the aid of a Montessori atrium guide. Parents observe and learn together with their children gaining insights into supporting their childs growth and development, nurturing the whole child. A Montessori book group, parenting support and exploration of creating a Montessori space in the home as an aid to the child are discussed. There are no refunds once the program begins.
